DO NOT STAY HERE! This is possibly the worst motel I have been booked into. If I could give it zero stars I would. When I arrived at reception I should have just turned around and walked out. Staff are pleasant enough, but don’t know what they are doing. I was booked in for work with a charge back to our travel company, but the person on reception had limited English and few administration skills. So, he made me pay up front before he’d give me the key (even after I pointed out the “charge back” clause on the itinerary). If I thought the reception area was tired and grubby, it was nothing compared to what I saw in the room. The photos don’t even do it justice. Aside from the paint on the carpet and the cobwebs hanging from the lights, the skirtings were absolutely filthy and the windowsills were so rotten you couldn’t even shut the windows. The kitchen bench had holes in it (where previous taps had been removed) and was also rotten in parts. An attempt had been made to replace the (presumably old/rotting/leaking) shower, but the job had not been completed, with exposed bare wood and gib lining. And the spa pool - well, I actually have no words. But possibly worst was that there was no underlay or mattress protector on the bed, and the sheets were so thin you could actually see the mattress pattern. There was a small electric blanket but nothing between that and the thin sheet so you would be practically lying on the wires. To be honest, I did not trust, given the state of the rest of the room, that there wouldn’t be bedbugs. Needless to say, I didn’t stick around to find out. Do not book this place even if it's the last motel available - you' be better off sleeping in your car! The location is actually quite nice but all the faults far outweigh the location. And I gave the location 1 star so that it didn't skew the overall result.

Friendly staff, good location. Hot mineral bath spa in every room is a nice treat. Went for a good soak every morning.

Absolutely disgusted with this sub-standard accommodation. So many things that need addressing by the management. The unit is advertised with a spa bath, there was no plug when I asked for one I was given a line that the housekeepers had been in that morning and they hadn't notified them, so I got the new plug filled the spa and it wasn't operational. The seats at the table, 3 of them were all broken, my partner sat on one and fell through it injuring herself. The duvet had dried blood on it. It was a hot summers day, no fan, again had to ask for one, to be told all the rooms should have one. There are cobwebs, dust, mildew and dirt throughout the unit Milk is supplied, we read the fine print in the information booklet, to find that the plastic bottles are reused, apparently sanitized, given the lack of hygiene in the unit this is highly suspect. Plastic LDPE bottles are not recommended as reusable. This is also a transitional housing facility, I feel we should have been informed of this when we made the booking. My partner made the booking through booking.com, but didn't read any reviews, unfortunately. When these issues were brought to the attention of management, they told us they didn't know about them, well I'm sorry but given that most of these issues have been mentioned in other reviews it is hardly believable. The only thing going for them is when we went down and told management we could not stay there they gave a refund, less the credit card surcharge. Not worth the $200 charged.

If we could give a zero star rating we would. Dining chairs were unstable and filthy with stains and dust. The front door to the unit was badly broken away so the room was absolutely freezing. Light switch fittings – Badly broken away and filthy - Potentially a major hazard! Especially to little ones with wondering hands! The walls & ceilings of the unit had paint peeling off and mold present all up around the man hole near the bathroom/spa room - Again, a health hazard! Carpets in the unit – Very badly stained next to the bed. Other staining droplets present throughout the rest of the room. Carpets were also very worn/balding near doors and under windowsills. Heater unit wasn't useable – Very dated and broken, no Air-con/Heat pump (which isn't ideal when your unit door has a hole in it....) Spa room – The plug was broken. Spa pool was not cleaned after previous people had stayed in the unit. We made sure we advised about the clumped balls of residue and hair present around the bath.. Spare blankets – Very dated & full of dust so they weren't useable. No toiletries in the bathroom. This motel also does not state that they are Emergency housing. Kids toys from tenants were blocking the entrance to stairwells which is also a fire-hazard. Not ideal to come back after dinner in the dark and trip over. Noise – ALL throughout the evening from what appeared to be a party happening. This was also accompanied by the smell of other substances. Early in the morning we were also woken by a loud pump/gurgling noises (spa bath). We paid just under $200 a night for this accommodation. Would not recommend to anyone and most definitely...
