Mercer Motel — Hotel in North Island

Best motel I’ve stayed in. The staff is super friendly and they keep the rooms clean. The location is great, beds are comfy and bathrooms are updated. The motel unit needed a good clean and the duvet cover had the previous occupiers spilt coffee stains still on it. Even though close to the expressway you didn't hear any road noise. They were accommodating for our late arrival and early departure. It was $145.00 and the unit was basic but had the appliances you would need i.e. kettle, toaster, electric fry pan, microwave etc. Shame there was no milk in the fridge...
