Tamaki Lakehouse — Hotel in North Island

My wife and I and a bunch of her freinds stayed here for 3 nights. Its ideal! Its very clean, pretty new, well appointed and warm. Its very well organised - check in/out and stay instructions. It opens out E facing onto a reserve a few metres from the lake under 3 beautiful Oaks and Ginko. Not cheap but loads of beds and very suitable for a group. Highly recommended. There is also a fish and chip chop in the village with questionable service but great fish...
