The Phoenix Bar and Eatery — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

I came here to celebrate my niece’s birthday recently. There is a pool table, TV screen, the usual pokie machine area and of course a bar. There is a big roofed deck and an outdoor lawn area, which I’m sure must get busy in the summer. There is also ample space down at other end of the bar to accommodate more people as well as live entertainment. It is situated off the main drag and state highway in Ngo. There is ample parking and I noticed a bus stop right outside, on School road too. Walking distance to the other shops in Ngo.

The bar staff served up an array of different pizzas during my niece’s celebration. I was very impressed, they were very tasty. The chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside -yum!

I understand that this bar has been through a number of owners in recent years. However, I’m sure if the current owners keep serving up good pizza, with good service and of course good live band experiences every now and then, they will definitely be like the new name suggests; a phoenix rising from the ashes. Well...

Amazing vibes Choi the bar tender is super hardworking and takes care of everyone in the bar and regulars so amazingly, great personality, stunning presentation and juggling the busy tavern magically 💯⭐️☺️ Karaoke is such a vibe once the night gets going. Pool comp is so much fun and such entertainment. Food is great, service is amazing, community vibes and people were amazing too. Safe and fun place to hangout and meet new people...

Ash and Binny are amazing people. So thoughtful and provide excellent service. The pizzas are delicious. I took my family there and order four pizzas and sides. It was so filling and so delicious. I really love the pizza bases. You can get takeaway too. Its local bar with good food. I really really love their fries. ...
