We bought some lunch and decided to have it at the Reserve. It was a lovely stop to sit and eat our lunch. We didn't have enough time to wander around the walkways so maybe next time. It seemed to be popular with dog walkers.

We found this amazing little spot and parked the car. The water was only meters from the carpark. The lake views are breathtaking. There were concrete steps down to the waters edge, so we walked down and took off our footwear, then paddled in the cool, refreshing water. There were fine little pebbles (not sand) on the waterbed which is great for exfoliating your feet 😆. There were some people further down the waterfront enjoying a cool swim.
