We stayed at this campground during the off-season, and while the facilities were decent, there are some limitations worth noting — especially if you’re planning to come during busier times.
There were only about four or five campervans on-site when we visited, but even with such low occupancy, only two showers were available. This means that during peak season, you may have to wait a while for your turn.
The kitchen had two electric burners and one electric cooktop, along with three sinks. There were some pots, pans, and utensils provided, but many were in poor condition. If you’re relying on these shared facilities, be prepared — they might not be sufficient when the campground is full.
One issue we found particularly frustrating was that the lighting and heating in the shower rooms are motion-activated. This might sound energy-efficient in theory, but in practice, it meant the lights went out halfway through a shower. We had to step out completely naked just to wave at the sensor — not exactly ideal.
That said, the water pressure and temperature were good, and the campground overall was clean and peaceful.
However, the price felt a bit steep — it was $50 per night, which seemed high considering the limited and occasionally...
Read moreYou are at a risk of abuse by the a massive male (owner?!) here. He started screaming at my teenage kids. Very stressful and intimidating. If I could have avoided this on my holiday, I would have. When I tried to make a complaint to the reception, instead of apology I was told, it should have taken us two minutes to view the kitchen, but it took us longer. Seriously? Who gives them a right to treat anyone like this. I would not want my dog shouted at like this. Let alone my kids. Don't get caught out staying at this place! I can see others reported similar experiences.
In response to your response: No. We're not the people who used any free WIFI code. You must have confused us with some other disgruntled customers. Check the other reviews. I'm not the only one complaining of being shouted at for no reason. And if there is something wrong, there is a civilized way to solve it. No need to intimidate and shout aggressively! The fact, that you are not apologetic even at this point, further confirms what kind of...
Read moreThe unit had been used by hotel relatives for 9 days before us. We found we had to wash the pots, pans, utensils glasses and cups that we wanted to use as they were all filthy. glasses had visible fingerprints on every one. one pot had food stains still in it. windows had fingermarks on them. The bottoms of the kitchen draws were filthy, the bottom of the cupboards were totally black under the covers. we have photos of all of the above. The keys did not work the front door, they were the wrong ones or the lock was broken. The reception closed early and the staff member left the site. we counted at least 12 vehicles come in after that and leave again. i estimate $1000-$1200 was lost in possible revenue. that equates to $7000-$8400 i being lost each week. This is what is causing the poor standards in this park. We wondered why everyone was walking over the front grass passed our front door to get to the reception, i immediately checked and rear door entrance for guests was...
