Omani style guesthouse with buffer dinner offered. Nice views from its "restaurant" on the top floor, although mobility-restricted people will have a hard time navigating its steep and uneven stone stairs. I was given a room on the ground floor, which was noisy since it faced the street. Most unpleasant were the mosquitos or insects there which bite me overnight as I slept, leaving sore, exposed skin even 2 weeks afterwards. What I am upset about the most was that I was promised a room with wifi (which I tested beforehand and got a wifi connection), but the wifi connection turned out to be so weak and slow that it was basically non-existent. The man in charge tells a good story about his family's history in the town and leads a tour, but his story and charm changed abruptly when I complained...
