Read moreRecently, I had taken a room and stayed at Boulevard Hotel, Al Khoud, Seeb, Oman to deal with some business enquiries. To be honest, the hygiene and neatness of the|| room was very much appreciable. The room and the surroundings was very well-kept by the staff members. However, there was a great problem that I noticed with the staff members working in the Restaurant Department. When I started to have my breakfast, the vegetables in the sandwich had a very rotten taste and were very watery. The bread tasted very rough and hard as though it had expired. I found an insect in the juice. I reported these problems to the waiter. Meanwhile, the waiter remained silent. As I saw the silence being kept by the waiter, I asked him that I wanted to meet his manager. When I met the manager, I told all the things that had happened there. However, the manager shouted and protested as though the fault was by my side. I went to many hotels and had many kinds of food but I did not have this type of horrible experience. Read moreService is ok. The problem is the communication between the staff. I take the room late at 5pm and the reception is omani they told us to checkout at 3pm the day after. So i made my schedule on the following day. Now the day of checkout.. at 12pm the card is auto shutdown. Ac is not working and no wifi. And they told us we need to leave at 12:30 pm. It means the other staff in the reception is not updated and he is rude indian. He explain the hotel policy but he forget to ask first the duty person that time. I have a small boy that time. So the solution that we made is to leave early, stay in the car until my meeting is finish. I am really upset.
My concern is they need to handover all the details before they leave their post. That this guest is leaving at this time. So that the person who work the day after is updated. A simple proper communication.
Anyway i raise this issue so that you will inhance your service. You have a very good hotel. Room is fine. Parking is ok. Foods are ok. Some staff are kind. Dont let them drag its because somebody is not doing there job properly
