I don’t recommend this gym at all 0%
I went today 10th of June to the hotel spoke to the reception that I need to talk to someone regarding the gym with don’t deserve this amount and the gym is so bad , he truly say the pictures in website is different and now we are another company We as a customers we don’t know about companies been changed or not we know about reviews and pictures See on the website a gym with machines and see in real life 2 walking machines and 1 cycle and 1 stairs machine and dumbles …. So if many people are there you need to take appointments to have exercise I swear to god seeb souq gyms is much better than maani fit. Once you say anything they say we give sona and steam which doesn’t work well and we give access for swimming pool
I spoke to guy called abdulrahman told him about my review he ask my to delete it why shall I delete so other people get scammed??? No way if this hotel was mine I won’t charge 30 for 1 month for this small gym , I hope this situation should be solved soon as possible, I went many gyms in Oman , uae , Kuwait and Qatar I didn’t see such small gym like maani .
Even though the reception guy Ali says there is nothing to do what should we do make a big gym ? Trying to be funny ??
Guys from my country and other countries I don’t recommend this hotel as a gym 2m on 2m gym thank god there is a...
Read moreI was thinking of staying there but still have not, my friend from over seas did though and I simply called the hotel so that they would transfers the phone call to the room like any normal 1 star to 7 star hotels would and it took me 35 mins through phone calls to arguing with the people behind the phone then transferring me to reservations then closing the line on my face simply because I asked them to transfer me to room number xyz! And the first one who replied to me said I don’t know how to transfer I told her ask someone who does she said we are both new! So now I should find a solution for them? I told her well ask someone or learn it or anything but I need to speak to room xyz! She coldly told me call them!!! Seriously??? Like if I could have I wouldn’t!?!?! Plus why is there a landline in the hotel if we are not allowed to talk to the people who book in it!!! Is this a hotel or a prison? Then they transfer me to reservations and when I told her what happened she said well it wasn’t me who spoke to you! What! Im telling you about an issue so send me to who I can address it to at least!! Then it hags up and call me again and said that the manager said we are not allowed to talk to the customers or transfer the call!!! So I told her then what are the options? What are we allowed for?!? Then she coldly said don’t you have a phone or their number? Call them!!! I told her will you pay my bill when I call their overseas number knowing there is a landline where you can simply transfer me or talk to them??? She said no! Then said do you want to speak to the manager!!! Oh my!!! I asked her what’s his name and she got angry!!!!! I asked her again doesn’t he have a name? And Baam she hanged the phone on my face!!!!how humiliating ! Nice way to go Maani Hotel!!! Word of mouth now for potential customers?...
Read moreThe Hotel is fabulous choice at any given time, especially if the location suits your needs. Elegant , modern hotel a few steps from a major mall. It is a 5 star hotel that does not conduct like one, it becomes evident, once you walk in, no welcome drink as you check in, nobody wears name badge , no concierge service though I can see them there, the valet are pretty swift I must admit.
Our last experience went terribly wrong, to the extent that we were called by the head of security to escort us out of the hotel! After a 2 day booking, we asked for an additional day extension at the reception, for which we were assured that it’s been handled.
The next day, we got a call asking us to check out since we didn’t have a booking! We politely and gently told them that we have a booking to stay for the day, but to no avail. After one hour of ‘wait and wait’ at the reception, we asked to leave for which we complied and went to pack up. At which point, head of security called in to see that we were checking out.
This was a pretty extreme step by Maani, first our booking was thrown out the window, hassled for more than a hour and then security gets called in? Its not that we were raised our voices, or used bad language or refused to pay!
We asked to speak to front office manger or any manager and we got told that the most senior person was the security attendant. This was in a fully packed hotel, some management!
We reached out to the Sales Manager who assured to investigate and come back, it’s been a week now and he never came back. A few steps from Maani Hotel, there is a Hotel called ‘Boulevard Hotel’, might be a...
