Aparta Hotel Pacande, Alto Boquete. — Hotel in Alto Boquete

We booked this room on booking.com and gave our hour of arrival. We received a message via booking.com from the owners saying they would be waiting. When we arrived no no one was there. There were various houses but no signs marking where to go. We tried all of the houses and no one was around. It was pouring rain. We sent a message on whatsapp but received no response. Finally after calling twice the woman told us that she gave our room to someone else. It appears cash in her pocket was more important than waiting for the reservation. (We did not arrive late)||||Afterwards, as we sat in the car looking for another hotel we noticed that it was STILL available on booking.com. The owner finally arrived and offered no suggestion about where else we can go. They weren't even go to talk to us until they realized we spoke Spanish. The experience was terrible.||||It was a terrible experience. We even received an email from booking saying 'the owners reported you did not check-in.' However, we found a nicer hotel for 5$ less.
