El Granero de Frida Cabins — Local services in Alto Boquete

We spent two nights at Frida’s. Service was polite and nice. Everything was easy and not complicated. Cabins/rooms were tidy and reasonably equipped. ||||Queen size beds (mattresses for us a bit uncomfortable though). Nice garden, with 3 friendly dogs and also 3 cats strolling around. Lovely view to the mountains. ||||Located in Alto Boquete ca 200 m away from the principal road to Boquete you hear the traffic at night (even at low volume). ||||Taxi drivers charge 1$/person to Boquete centre (one way) which is ca 5.5 km away. At night (after 22:00/10:00 p.m.) some ask for 1,50$/person. ||||All in all we can really recommend...

For me, this is more like a hostel than a hotel. It more fits for a group of friends. |Pros: it has a pretty garden with a BBQ area in the middle. 2 super friendly dogs with a lot of cats hanging out in the garden. The room has a kitchen with stove, oven, sink, and microwave, coffee pot. The staff was nice and helpful.|Cons: the entrance from the main road to the place and the parking area need some serious improvement, it is bumpy and muddy with gutter on the side. The soundproof is not really good, we can hear our next door talking and the kid stayed above our room kept dropping things on the floor which is...
