This hostel is pretty shabby and it's not a pleasant place to stay. Overall the place is in a bad condition and it's quite far from the town.

Walls in the room were dirty. Room was too small. There were holes in the walls and in the ceiling in the room (see photos). Pans and pots are scratched. Dishes and cups need to be replaced.

The owner Dora was quite accommodating but always tried to make some profit out of everything and so then we felt her smile was not genuine. Some information about the availability of her rooms and places to go were misleading. She wanted us to book a more expensive room for the second night saying that our room is not available even though it was. She tried to sell us a tour by taxi to places where you can go by public transport saying that there was no way to get there by buses (not true).

We wouldn’t return to this place. There are better options in town in the same...

We had a comfortable stay at Hostal Creadora in Boquete.

The best part of the property is its surroundings. It has a mini-forest with a creek/small river around its backyard.

It is near a grocery store; and there is a plaza across the main road. It is a few minutes away from the downtown by car.

The room that we got was quite small, with limited counter space and hooks/hangers.

Shower water pressure was strong.

We had an electricity outage for about an hour.

Housekeeping opened our room door without knocking, while we were still in the room at around 11:15AM when checkout time is at noon.

We were able to meet the owner Dora, her son, and granddaughters. They were...

My husband and I stayed here one night and the host was so super helpful. She spent a long time calling around to see if it was possible for us to do a particular hike, and then when we were leaving, drove us out of her way (without expecting anything from us). The hostel is very clean, and there is a well equipped kitchen out the back with lots of seating. Our room was a good size and comfortable. There are two showers and two toilets and there is hot water in the showers. It is a $2 taxi ride into the main part of boquete, but there are a few places to eat that are decent just over the road. There is also a bus that stops right nearby (including the bus...

This place is a $1 per person cab ride from the actual town of Boquete but was reasonably quiet (there are always barking dogs in Panama), and the people are really lovely. A well equipped kitchen and lounge areas make up for small rooms. We started with a room upstairs, but the wind noises on the metal roof were so loud that we transferred to a lower level after the 1st night. There are grocery options almost next door. Great value overall.
