The Garden Boquete — Restaurant in Alto Boquete

I used to like coming to this restaurant, mostly when my dog was being groomed at Nani’s, but also when he was with me. This restaurant is on the list of pet friendly restaurants, but suddenly it is not pet friendly. I drove up from David with my dog specifically to eat here, my dog was in his stroller (I never take him in public places without him being restrained and behaved). When I walked into the restaurant to place an order, I was told I had to go outside. I was going to sit outside to eat, but now I can’t even go inside to order and pay. I thought this was extremely rude, my dog wasn’t loose, not on a leash, he was laying in his stroller. I will not spend my money in this restaurant again, I don’t support places that are not pet friendly. There is no sign on the door forbidding animals and if you are going to insist someone with an animal stay outside to place their order and pay then everyone without pets should have to order and pay at...

I walked in tonight but they were closed. The young lady at the counter apologized and told me they were having a community meeting which is why there were others in the place. My first time in so I asked if they have any sandwiches ready that I could take to go? She said, she would go make me a sandwich! Really? They were all in full clean up mode. I told her I was on about hour 20 of a fast and I would LOVE it if she didn't mind... she didn't. Then I saw the salad bar and she said she wouldn't mind making me a salad if I wanted... really? I said I would love a salad. Best way to break a fast is with a salad. While I waited on the sandwich a delightful young gentleman, clearly a chess grand master whooped my butt in a game of chess. You never know when life is going to throw some gems 💎. I'm so greatful for the delicious sandwich and ass whooping. 😁 highly recommend. A class act from a-z... above and...

I moved to Boquete a bit less than (2) years ago from South East Florida ... Naturally, part of my discovering all the wonderful things of my new found country was who had the best salad bar and more importly ... the best cheese burgers and fries!!!

IF you're not familiar with The Garden Resturant located in San Francisco Plaza ... you owe it to yourself to check it out and IF you are familiar with it ... then you know what I'm talking about!!!

This is just a great place to sit down - (or take out) and enjoy an amazing meal at a very reasonable price served to you by a friendly and courteous staff ... best of all it's familily owned and operated ...
