Corotú | Hostal Restaurante — Hotel in Coclé

A complete disaster. We booked a room for one night and when we arrived a strange old man told us there wasn’t any electricity available in the hostel therefore we couldn’t stay there. He wouldn’t let us onto the property and refused to give us our money back, didn’t even make the effort to call the actual owner of the hostel to find a solution. Basically all he said was we couldn’t stay there but also that he wasn’t responsible for nothing. Owner of the hostel couldnt be contacted via the given number. We stayed two nights at hostel Corotu and were completely satisfied with everything! Maribel is a wonderfol host and was always friendly and helpful.She prepared a very tasty breakfast with fruits, eggs, bread and marmelade. ||The pictures you see are absolutely identical with what the rooms actually look like. The veranda is amazing! You have a great view over the ocean which is just a few meters from the hostel away.
