Hotel Catequil — Hotel in Cajamarca

We stayed four nights at this hotel. A beautiful place, clean, spacious, quiet, very well located and with excellent service. We stayed in a room with private bathroom, with ceramic tile floor, table with a chair and a nearby socket, a side table with lamp and balcony. Cable TV and wifi. Room a bit dark and the shower is low on water but hot. Only three hangers in the closet. They provided towels, soap and toilet paper. We stayed in the San Miguel room on the first floor. You can order breakfast for PEN 10 / $ 3 more. We were taken care of by Luis and Paulina - excellent. We paid PEN 70 / US $ 21 a night in low season. La estancia en este hotel no es nada agradable y el servicio es muy pero que muy deficiente, desde el primer dia ya tuve problemas...|1° hice un cambio por teléfono ampliando los dias y el numero de personas pero no lo habian registrado ni tenian constancia del mismo, encima el de la recepción te rebate como si tu td hubieses equivocado (poco profesionalismo).|2° El personal, incluido "el administrador" no tienen educación; tiene una actitud chulesca al resto les cuesta dar un buenos dias.... en definitiva, no hacen que tu estancia sea agradable.|3° se pidió un secador de pelo y nunca lo vimos... poca profesionalidad, no tendriamos que estar recordanselo cada vez que los veamos.|4° y por ultimo, el adminitrador es una persona bastante desagradable, es un chulo (persona de barrio bajo y con prepotencia) que nos dió indicaciones sentado como si estuviera con sus amigos tomandose una copa o en el Spa.|Por todos estos motivos NO recomiendo esta Hostal. Nunca volveré a este sitio.|Las instalaciones; son normalitas, el wifi va mal se corta de tanto en tanto y la limpieza correcta.|Espero que os...

Welcoming and clean. Easy walking distance from city plaza and local sites. They offered an inside or street side room, next time I will choose inside. The beautiful little Court yard would have provided more peaceful sleep. On the other hand, my travel companions are hard of hearing and the street noise didn't bother them in...
