Hotel California Valle Sagrado — Hotel in Calca

I've been working for the Hotel as a photografer. I made and edited 227 photos. The agreement had been for 80 photos, but finally they asked me for far more fotos, that hadn't been part of it. In exchange the said to me they will give me an extra amount. I worked three days in different places, even in another city because they asked me to take pictures in their two discos, where they are owners too. When they paid me, at first they tried to pay me without any extra... Then i asked them about the extra and they were giving me only less than 10 dollars (for a lot of professional extra work). It was my mistake that i did not ask how much they are going to pay me for the extra work, but i thought they know how to appreciate my work. So if you work with them do it better with a contract.

Trabajé para ellos como fotógrafa. Tomé y edité 227 fotos, aunque el acuerdo era de 80 fotos me pidieron de más espacios y lugares de los acordados. Por esto último dijeron que iban a pagarme un extra. Pasé tres días trabajando en diferentes lugares, incluso en otra ciudad, ya que son dueños de dos discotecas, y una se encuentra en Urubamba. Cuando llegó el momento de pagarme intentaron no darme el extra, al pedírselo me dieron menos de 10 dólares. Fue mi error, y lo reconozco, el no haber preguntado cuánto iba a ser ese extra, pero honestamente pensé que iban a saber apreciar mi trabajo, ya que al vivir ahí y acompañarme a las discotecas fueron conscientes de todo mi trabajo y las horas...

Best breakfast I've had in Peru with the best views up on the top floor with a 180 window. Hotel is very clean and the staff were so helpful and accommodating yesterday when we arrived feeling very sick - making a good recovery now. Wifi pops on and off occasionally no problem really. We were given a room with a hot tub for no extra cost after they mixed up our room booking. We stayed here pre-Larez trek and went and asked when breakfast was (8-10) then we must have seemed in a hurry as when we got upstairs it was already ready for us, fresh orange juice, warm fresh bread, coffee and huge bowl of avocado. We got very sick on the Larez trek so came back here no booking and they let us right in pre-check in time which was the nicest thing they could have done, so very pleased...

🌻Cute spot. Experienced a suite with a beautiful view & a private terrace. Breakfast included: bread, butter, jelly, eggs, cheese, orange juice & coffee. As a vegan I didn’t have breakfast the first day but requested fruit the following morning & they were accommodating ☺️.

Good water pressure & hot water in the showers 🥳 grateful. The room had a two person jacuzzi, before it reached half way the hot water ran out. 😔
