My friend and I wanted to head straight to the Sacred Valley immediately after landing into Cusco to help acclimatize our sea level bodies to the altitude more gradually than staying in Cusco. We weren't quite sure if we should stay in Pisac or Urubamba, or Ollantaytambo and I'm so happy we finally decided on Pisac and Jenny's place! Pisac is a quiet town, that is easily walkable and Hosedaje Kitamayu was a truly ab Oasis to return after the day's activities. Breakfast is included and included freshly homemade juice and bread, local jam and butter, eggs and vegetables, and coffee and/or tea. Jenny readily accommodated some of our early morning starts and was happy to help with suggestions for things to do around town. A fresh teapot was prepared for us every afternoon and the rooms were comfortable with the warmest, fluffiest comforters on the bed! We had all the hot water we needed and the toilet functioned well (you should not expect this in all hotels around here). Jenny helped us with all of our taxi transfers and even worried about us when we showed up later than she expected after a particularly long day...it was like having a caring relative in a foreign country- much appreciated! Walking distance to the market, the ruins, and many restaurants. There is a convenience store within the house which was very convenient for ensuring we were well hydrated. Definitely recommend this as a place to stay in the...

Read moreHospedaje familiar is an oasis at the edge of Pisac directly under the famous ruins and only 5mins walk through the lovely market to the start. Jenny makes every effort to make your stay like a home stay. She and the staff are friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is very good, just what we needed. The room was very quiet and clean with an onsuite shower room with lots of hot water. There is also a small snack shop that is well stocked and money change facility. One night here didn’t seem enough after the hustle and bustle of touristy Cusco. A...
