Hotel El Principe is located in the centre of Piura, offers 37 rooms over 4 floors and has a lift. The young woman at reception is not helpful, unwelcoming and only interested in watching films on her laptop.||||The hotel is nice, well maintained, clean and non-smoking. At the fifth-floor you find a comfortable open-air lounge. From the lounge terrace there will be traffic noise from the street. Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet and an average buffet breakfast.||||Our double room was adequately decorated and furnished, with a good-bed and surprisingly hard pillows. The room had a TV on the wall, desk & chair, wardrobe, fridge, and a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower over the bath. El hotel tiene buena ubicacion, no es la mejor ni mas bonita pero queda a un paso de la plaza principal de Piura, de bancos, restaurantes, etc. La habitacion impecable con todo lo necesario para un viaje de negocios, comoda, con aire acondicionado, baño muy limpio. No hay comedor ni desayuno, ahora el comedor lo han separado del hotel y tiene atencion exterior. Hasta este punto todo muy bien.||Mi malestar surge al momento de pagar mi estadia que fue de una noche mas el Early check in y el Late check out que yo sabia debia pagarlos. Cuando hice la reserva el costo de la habitacion era USD29.00 a lo que habia que adicionarle el ingreso y salidas fuera de hora ademas del impuesto correspondiente lo cual es correcto pagar pero surgieron un par de problemas:||1.- No aceptan pago en dolares USA||2.- El tipo de cambio que usan es exageradamente alto. EL BCR tenia el cambio Compra a 3.76 soles por dolar y ellos lo cotizaron a 4.35 soles por dolar.||||Me incrementaron el costo de la habitacion en 1mas del 15% lo cual es totalmente inaceptable.||Por eso les recomiendo asegurarse de la tarifa que van a pagar y no los vayan a sorprender como lo...
