Hotel Calmelia — Hotel in Piura

Large private rooms, with an industrial grade fan to keep you cool (although it's quite loud). The room and bathroom are very clean. Like we've come to find throughout North Peru, this "hostel" is really just a small hotel, with daily cleaning, no kitchen, no dorms, etc. They have a small terrace and lounge area with a couple chairs to hang out and work on laptops or do research. You can ask to use some space in their mini-fridge to keep beers cold if you'd like. There are some mosquitos that make their way in the windows, but this is just part of life in Piura. El hospedaje es de 2 pisos, asi q no hay q subir mucha escalera. Parece ser lo q alguna vez fue una casa y ahora adaptada para hospedar. La habitación que me toco estuvo a mi parecer bien para algo básico y por unos 2 dias que fui por trabajo. Todo muy limpio, el baño y ducha algo pequeños pero manejable, ah si tienen ventilador (super necesario), tienen una pequeña sala y un balconcillo con mesas y sillas para pasar el rato, lo único que demoran en abrir un poco. Cabe mencionar que esta cerca al aeropuerto, al realplaza y los famosos mercaditos. Con pasajes que no suben de 3 o 4 soles en mototaxi entre el real plaza, los mercaditos y el hospedaje.
