Qasikay Selva Lodge — Hotel in Sauce

We spent 3 days in Sauce and the staff of the hotel were all very nice. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The courtyard was ideal for our toddler to run around. The lake is accessible and they have really nice cover dock with hammocks should have the luxury of resting.

Two aspects that the hotel could improve is better pillows (all Peruvian hotels seem to have uncomfortable pillows) and adding air conditioning, address both and this would be a perfect...

The hotel itself is nice. Free kayak rental was a good feature. Sadly when we used them our shoes were stolen from the pier and were never found. The other huge disappointment was the bar that played karaoke until midnight even though the hours were supposed to be till 10:30 and it was very difficult to fall asleep. Obviously the singing/music was awful as well. Lastly...make sure you put toilet paper in the bathroom BEFORE...

The place and people who attend are very nice and friendly. I liked my stay because they made me felt at home. The only thing I would recommend them is to invest in something that will distract children. Like a playground or something. It would also be nice if they could do something about recycling their garbage, as I noticed that they throw everything together. But besides this it was a fantastic experience...
