Las Hamacas Hotel — Hotel in Sauce

AVOID THIS HOTEL. You will be charged a higher price if you are a foreigner or if they think you have money. Also, this hotel is more like a nightclub.

Everybody knows there is price discrimination but this hotel takes it to whole different level. My Peruvian friend called and was quoted 180 soles per night. When I showed up I was quoted 400 soles. I saw a local couple (from Tarapoto) paying 140 soles per night. Charging higher prices to foreigner is very standard in Peru but i never seen it this bad.

I have stayed here 4 times already and I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING!!! Rooms are perfectly clean and always hot water in their showers. Food is another level, I tried most of the dishes they have in their menu and they are so yummy! La atención en el Front desk, puede y debe mejorar, la Srta Carla es sumamente descortés y displicente, al igual que su compañera. Siendo esta la primera impresión que recibe el pasajero, deberían ser más amables para fidelizar al cliente.|Las habitaciones carecen de escritorio y silla.
