Golden Inn — Hotel in Tambopata

Do not book this hotel. Does not look like the pictures whatsoever. Entrance looks like walking into a strip club. When assigned a room we noticed there were no walls, but windows (??) to the hallway, meaning people can watch me sleep. Windows towards the street (which is super loud and busy) do not close properly so you will not get any sleep due to the noise. Blinders are half and half there, as some panels were missing. Huge water damage on the wall. Lights doesn’t work in the bathroom. We were given one (1!!!) towel to two people. We had booked 4 nights and immediately checked out again. Bonus info: -Staff only speak Spanish although the booking site said there’s multi lingual staff -There’s no breakfast although their booking site says so no airport transportation available ( although they said that when booking) no room service (although saying that when booking) could continue, but everyone gets...

My husband and I booked this hotel for one night. First they couldn't find our reservation. No problem they booked a New room for the same price. The first girl says that breakfast is included. On our reservation, on the wall at the reception and on different websites it says that breakfast is included aswell. But when we are going to pay later on in the evning the other girl says it's not included and we have to pay 10 soles per person. We asked her why does it say that it is included?! She just Said it wasn't and didnt have any explication. We Think she wanted the money in her own pocket.

The internet didnt work either and we only got one towel.

The hotel staff was rude and didn't cooperate. The stairs were slippery which caused me to fall down. There were bloodspatters in the shower and it looked like the shower hadn't been cleaned at all. I didn't get a towel, they tried to give me less change and the present fan wasn't working....
