Titikaka Iquiña lodge — Hotel in undefined

I stayed with Gilber and Mariela for two nights and I had an experience like I have never had before or ever will. They were incredibly helpful ahead of arriving and arranged for a taxi and boat to collect us, same for the return journey when they provided blankets and hot water bottles at 4am. The food they served was delicious and the activities they provided were very interesting (fishing, history of the Uros, tour of the community)

I suffered from altitude sickness and they went above and beyond to help me. They came to the main land, took me to the doctor and arranged for my prescription and ticket to be collected while I recovered.

I cannot recommend Titikaka Iquina Lodge, Gilber and Mariela enough. You HAVE to stay here if you go to...

We tried more than one lodge in the Uros community, and this one is DEFINITELY by far the best one! It is amazing the way the family makes you feel part of their community. The apartments are new and well kept, food is delicious, you are all the time involved in many activities. The family really puts an effort to make you feel home, welcomed, and to let you understand their roots and tradition (in other Lodge is not the same for sure).

Moreover, good point, everything is included in the initial price (taxi boat; excursions; other activities; meals) - whereas in the other lodges they give you the initial price but once you get there they sum up any kind of fee for anything.

Amazing place! We stayed two nights with Gilbert and his family. They are wonderful hosts, they always make sure you are having a great experience!! The lodge is super clean and comfortable, you have a place to sit and relax outside too, which is perfect to watch the sunset. The meals served are absolutely delicious and so well presented. It is a wonderful experience to learn how the Uros people live. Art crafting, boat tours and fishing are some of the activities we got to do. I would definitely recommend you to book it as you won’t regret it- contact them via WhatsApp. I can’t wait to come back...
