I was really looking forward to my stay in this hotel after reading many great reviews for it online. Unfortunately, my visit was not nearly what I had hoped. My room was on the second floor facing the street and it was incredibly noisy. I could distinctly hear every bit of a normal conversation taking place on the sidewalk below, cars driving by late into the night, along with dogs barking (and even fighting) in the street outside. There is absolutely no sound proofing on the windows at all, and it basically ruined my quick overnight visit as I was completely unable to sleep.||||The rooms were nice and well appointed, and well above average for Trujillo. But my experience was quite poor due to being unable to sleep until after 3 am. Also, it is obviously a family owned and operated hotel (nothing wrong with that), with a baby being cared for in the common area downstairs and a small dog roaming the premises inside. It didn't bother me, but it might be a problem for some.||||There are a few good restaurants in the area, but this hotel is not the best for tourists. You will have a better experience downtown. Read moreI would like to recommend Hotel Las Condes HS, Trujillo. We stayed at the property recently and we were delighted with the warm hospitality and service. Mr. Luis Rubio, the owner took personal interest in us and made us feel welcome. Mr. Rubio, as well as the staff were very helpful and accommodating. They made recommendations for sightseeing to the El Brujo archaeological complex and the Dama de Cao Museum. They also recommended restaurants. The hotel is a few blocks away from downtown, but that is not a problem since the taxi runs are fairly inexpensive. This is a great value small hotel that met our needs. Read moreThe room is good sized ( family suite) and well-priced|The room and hotel were clean and safe and they had good wifi and hot water but The bed was literally the hardest most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in ( and I am a doctor who sleeps in bad on call beds) the staff was kind. There's no laundering service and the breakfast was ehhhhh|Definitely need to take a taxi to get to the main part of town fro here (4-5 soles per ride) not bad...
