We made the reservations based on the rooms they show at their website and when we arrived checked in and moved into the room it we were very disappointed, the room was so tinny with a full size bed and 2 feet of space between the bed and the walls. The bathroom was poorly set up … the toilet paper was of the poorest single ply quality and the toilet was probably from the 1800s; they had a noisy pump near our room that since 5 am was running like an alarm clock next to your ear. Next morning we hunted for hotels and we moved out. When I pointed out their deficiencies to the front desk they seemed careless I told them I felt I had been scammed since the rooms were not the rooms they show on their website and checked out from hotel. I was born and raised in Trujillo and had traveled with my wife to visit some relatives I hadn’t seen in years. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking quality...
Read moreThe good: They have wi-fi which reaches many (but not all) of the rooms, the breakfast is the same as I have had everywhere in Peru, and they have food pretty late. The bad: the rooms are cold (all tiled), the staff don't know how to put through calls (they hung up on everyone who called me), there are no safes in the rooms, and they have the same lock used on bathroom doors in the US (i.e., a button in the middle of the door knob), so the place feels incredibly insecure; the women I was travelling with pushed their fridges against the doors because a hard shove would have been enough to get in, and the security downstairs consisted of a sleepy...
