In a quiet unassuming tree-lined row of bungalows just off the main road of Angeles City and SCTEX is the aptly named Oasis Hotel. It was built in 1966 to provide accommodations to US servicemen. The mid century design gives a sense of deja vu, much like stepping into the era of the 60’s and 70’s. But what a delight to find such a well-maintained hotel with modern touches. New hotels have much to learn from this one — nothing as cool as old school! From the spacious rooms with Miami-esque aesthetics to its El Lay vibe, it is surrounded with palm fronds that add to the tropical feel. The poolside area is centrally located around which the rooms are clustered, giving everyone easy access. Now the breakfast buffet is an experience in itself! The spread is a throwback to the genteel Americana days. Where else can you find a carving station of baked ham with applesauce or turkey ham with gravy from scratch and a side of cranberry jelly? The cinnamon French toast and silver dollar pancakes are a delight,served with crispy bacon or sausage patties and real potato hash. Initially, I was hesitant to book my accommodation due to its location, but my concerns were quickly put to rest. ||The hotel offers 24-hour security and free parking, with staff even assisting with traffic until your vehicle is secured.||Upon entering the hotel lobby, I was greeted warmly, and the cleanliness of the entire establishment was immediately apparent. ||My room was impeccably cleaned daily. The delicious daily breakfast was a highlight, offering a delightful start to each day.||In the evenings, the non-smoking pub opens at 7:00 PM and features live music. You can enjoy your favorite drinks and snacks while listening to personally requested songs.||This hotel is truly underrated. Out of 5 stars, I would give it a 6! Read more. The restrooms have bath tub and bidet|. They don't have electric kettle but there's thermos in the room which you can bring to their water station to get hot water. Ice is also available there. as well|. I like that they have "Emergency button". It was accidentally pushed by my son, it's just located in the lamp table. I think their location is safe because it's inside a village/subdivision yet very near to major establishments. |. All their staff are friendly and accommodating. |.
