In a quiet unassuming tree-lined row of bungalows just off the main road of Angeles City and SCTEX is the aptly named Oasis Hotel. It was built in 1966 to provide accommodations to US servicemen. The mid century design gives a sense of deja vu, much like stepping into the era of the 60’s and 70’s. But what a delight to find such a well-maintained hotel with modern touches. New hotels have much to learn from this one — nothing as cool as old school! From the spacious rooms with Miami-esque aesthetics to its El Lay vibe, it is surrounded with palm fronds that add to the tropical feel. The poolside area is centrally located around which the rooms are clustered, giving everyone easy access. Now the breakfast buffet is an experience in itself! The spread is a throwback to the genteel Americana days. Where else can you find a carving station of baked ham with applesauce or turkey ham with gravy from scratch and a side of cranberry jelly? The cinnamon French toast and silver dollar pancakes are a delight, served with crispy bacon or sausage patties and real potato hash. So if find yourself heading north, take time for a leisurely stop at this...

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Initially, I was hesitant to book my accommodation due to its location, but my concerns were quickly put to rest. ||The hotel offers 24-hour security and free parking, with staff even assisting with traffic until your vehicle is secured.||Upon entering the hotel lobby, I was greeted warmly, and the cleanliness of the entire establishment was immediately apparent. ||My room was impeccably cleaned daily. The delicious daily breakfast was a highlight, offering a delightful start to each day.||In the evenings, the non-smoking pub opens at 7:00 PM and features live music. You can enjoy your favorite drinks and snacks while listening to personally requested songs.||This hotel is truly underrated. Out of 5 stars, I would give it a 6! I was tempted to give it 3 thumbs up, but I only have 2 thumbs.||Give this hotel a chance; you won't be disappointed. ||I extended my stay for an additional week, and as General Douglas MacArthur said, ||"I shall return."||Tony Mallari, South...

. The restrooms have bath tub and bidet|. They don't have electric kettle but there's thermos in the room which you can bring to their water station to get hot water. Ice is also available there. as well|. I like that they have "Emergency button". It was accidentally pushed by my son, it's just located in the lamp table. Immediately we received a call from front desk asking what's the matter. We apologized for what happened. |. I think their location is safe because it's inside a village/subdivision yet very near to major establishments. |. All their staff are friendly and accommodating. |. Special mentions to their staff during our breakfast - Chedrick, Darell, Erick and Rocky. They are very kind to offer my sons something to eat, because they've noticed that my sons just ate scrambled egg and a pancake|. They don't have a kiddie pool. At start, it's 5ft already, but they let you borrow safety vest for kids (since I'm short, I didn't enjoy much...

I first visited Oasis Hotel when I was living in Angeles in 2002. The hotel hasn't changed since, which is a good thing. The rooms are spacious and clean; the food is still very good; and they have very friendly and polite staff. The hotel has a 90s-early 2000s vibe to it, which I like; it gives Oasis character that some of the new hotels in Clark lack. The best part about Oasis now is the price; the rooms I got were half the cost of a decent hotel inside Clark. Given that Clark is just a ten-minute drive from Oasis, those who are on a budget but want to stay in a decent hotel should consider Oasis. Of course, I cannot say enough about the food. Maranao Grill is still a very good restaurant, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. Many Angeles residents still frequent the place because as far as fine dining goes, MG can really hold its own.
