Angeles Palace Hotel — Hotel in Angeles

First time on this place and I must say starting from the pick up service at SM clark, the drivers are very much courteous and friendly. When we arrived, the general manager was on the entrance and greeted us with a wide smile you can feel the welcoming aura of this place. The receptionist as well as the chef are both very accomodating too! Though the villa section of the hotel which is advertised on this app is currently unavailable since it was under renovation but we had a sneak peak in it. We stayed where is the small pool located and we noticed that there are some wires touching the pool water though they are not live wires for sure but its quite bothering so we do suggest to hide them. I may suggest using updated songs on the pool since we repeatedly hear songs of 2016 haha you can try tiktok songs too. In our room, its definitely clean and lots of towels but the bidet was not producing plenty pressure of water on the cr and had three korean channels only which goes on and off so we can't really watch well when staying at the room. On the other side, we really enjoy the free breakfast and service of the hotel as well as the free water dispensers on the lobby so we don't have to buy outside. We booked a deluxe room here during our trip for the Aurora Music Festival 2023.

Pros: Super friendly staff and very accommodating, from guard up to the front desk employees.

Easy access to Korean Town (very near the area)

With free shuttle (around Clark only)

With plenty of parking space

With 2 swimming pools, the second one is just next to the hotel on other building within the vicinity (the staff told us that you can swim until 12am)

With a mini restaurant (havent tried their food)

Cons:

Low phone signal

Not PWD friendly since there's no elevator

Facility and units are kind of old (understandable for the price)

TV is working but we didnt used it. Channels were korean and static. Lol

Pool needs cleaning (from my point of view)

Rooms are not quite soundproof

Suggestions:

You might want to change the lightings on the floor hallways since they're kind of dark and has a lonesome feels on it.

Overall, if youre always on-the -go, like us, this place recommended for you.

If your korean, you will love this hotel, as its geared to them, as someone who is not. I found my room bed old, my tv in korean only, breakfast was korean, only eggs they begrudgingly cooked for me. Swimming pool was dirty everyday, i had to get in pool to clear leaves, wifi is slow and intermittent. Definately not a hotel for usa,brits or any westerner really.
