This is not in front of the beach. Not in the actual Sabang beach. You have to walk pretty far to get to the surfing area. There is a construction going on by the river, so it wasn't a nice long walk. It was muddy and loud. To go surfing, the instructors took us by tricycle. The place is deceiving in pictures. IRL, it is run down. The pool has lounge chairs that is so old and brittle that it is a health hazard. The pool was actually clean and the small pool was under maintenance when we were there. The picnic area where you eat, the restaurant (if you can call it that, look smore like a carinderia) are all very underwhelming. You can't take pictures because it will look like you went to some run down kubo in the middle of nowhere instead of a resort. They advertised a lovely dining area in the middle of a moat or something but when you get there, it looks like a health hazard. I didn't step one foot in it because I feel it will fall apart on me or that I will be overridden by mosquitos. The room was cold and nice at least. Although the hot water was not working for my room. But my brother's room, the air conditioning was not working properly. As for the staff, the front desk was very accommodating. I feel like she is the only person working there. She gave me a briefing although unnecessary when we checked in. Really, I feel like people already know how hotels and resorts work, you don't need to waste my time by giving me a briefing. But anyhow, she was nice and lovely. She gave me a cold ice candy as a welcome drink? but its not a drink its ice candy lol. The gesture is highly appreciated though. I asked for a massage, which is nice that they did it right in the room. I booked surfing lessons. Like I said the instructors took us to Sabang beach in their own tricycles. They were great. They spoke English and gave good instructions and encouragement as the waves pummeled me multiple times. I would have asked for another lesson the next day if the time had allowed it. But we had to leave. Overall, this place is good for a budget. But if you have money to splurge, I would prefer something closer to Sabang beach.

The place is great for those who are working remotely but at the same time wants a vacation. Their starlink internet provides strong and fast internet connection Rooms are okay. Spacious and cozy. Water pressure in the bathroom is okay. There are a lot of activities to choose from in the resort. The pool is 8ft deep, perfect for swimming. There are a lot of dogs in the resort. For us dog lovers, we are completely okay with this. The staff and the owner are VERY ACCOMODATING. We felt a “home” vibe during our stay. Superb hospitality. They are very attentive to our needs and gave us alot of complementary stuff during our stay. Bring insect repellent. At night, there are alot of mosquitoes if you stay in the tent area. To improve: (1) the CR beside the pool has a foul, strong urine smell. It needs cleaning. We enjoyed our stay in the resort and will definitely going to be back here. Will recommend to our friends and relatives as well.

We had the place all to ourselves possibly because its off season. The staff are nice and we even get complimentary meals. They have a bunch of activities available, such as the swimming pool, basketball court, ATV, surfing, and kayaking. We did some of them, but the downside is the bathroom. It has a funny smell that is a reminiscent of sewage water. If we keep the door open it the smell spreads across the room. Also, the surfboards need replacements, and they can fixed up the place to make it more up to date. But the service and staff are very cordial and accommodating in our needs.

Overall, this was a cute place to stay. They had it well set up with activities. The staff was amazing they were so kind and accommodating. The food was good and well priced. The dogs were very cute and well-behaved. They would take turns escorting us to the end of their territory to make sure we were safe, which was super cute. There were two issues with staying here. The first was the wifi in the rooms, which was spotty on a good day, and the cell service didn't work well either. It worked well in the courtyard, but if you wanted to do it in your room, it was nearly impossible. They would benefit greatly from installing a booster. Second was the lighting outside. It's quite dark outside at night. There was one table with good lighting, the other lights were dim. There is no lighting between the resort and the main street. While the area is safe, I generally don't like walking alone at night in poorly lit areas. You'll need to rent a bike or a good flashlight if you plan to be out after dark (6 pm). I would recommend this place if you're an easygoing traveler. Outside of the two issues mentioned, they did a good job making us...
