Been staying here every now and then But the recepcionist last Time had a problem with our reservations . Since I considered myself as their "suki" the usual scenario would be I will call them before leaving Pagadian for a reservation , and then I will again call them as soon as I reached CDO to confirm that we are already in CDO and will be at the hotel after all the transactions we have to attend there. And it was OKAY for many years . Until the new recepcionist would like me to visit the hotel first to confirm one reservation. I told her to check their records and she can see my name as a regular guest, because we are already at the hospital and bearing the long line there. So in short, she wanted a DEPOSIT to secure our slot. So I went , though I was really pissed at the time. I had no choice because it was there policy .
Last feb 2017, I went back again (yes despite of what happened the last time ) this time I noticed a little crack on the glass top, at the table. So I did not bother because I had to go somewhere anyway.
Upon check out I asked the room boy to check the room so that when I give the key to the reception counter then I will be easily released. The room boy called the lobby and said we are good to go.
I left my helper and my 1 year old baby at the room , together with my 8 year old child because my husband was still at the parking lot and there are still heavy bags to be picked by my husband. I just went ahead to give the keys. All those bags are ready. Take note I am not stupid enough to put heavy luggage at the table
As my husband went back to the room he told the helper and our kids to go down as he will use the bathroom first before leaving (yes nag POOP siya)
So me and the kids were at the lobby waiting. Then we went home
BANG! The hotel called us telling us that we broke the glass So upon explaining politely ... still we had and argument because THE ACCOUNT MANAGER (over the phone) TOLD US THAT THEY WILL NEVER ALLOW SOMEBODY TO USE THE ROOM IF THERE WAS A BROKEN GLASS. And THE WORST PART OF YHE CONVERSATION WAS THAT THEY HAD THIS SPECULATIONS THAT WE COVERED THE TABLE WITH THE LUGGAGE TO HIDE THE GLASS WE BROKE. AND THAT ALSO MAYBE MY HUSBAND BROKE IT AS HE STAYED THERE . Why did they need to release us if they did not checked the room properly? They could have checked it back again after my husband .
The glass was already broken (but not much) but then they told us it was really broken. My husband said maybe it was broken totally upon cleaning but then put the blame on us
THEY WERE NOT POLITE AT ALL.
I can PAY the damages if we ruined it. (Daghan mi glass here hahah supplier man mi) but we did not broke it so why should we?
AFTER THEY ARGUE WITH US IN THE PHONE, they just HANGED UP!!! BASTOS LANG!
I texted them that if they really have a complain we can always coordinate with our legal counsel
YES I KNOW, why do we need to keep coming back to this hotel?
It's cheap Near the hospital (polymedic) my doctor's clinic is there And I thought we found already a second home there. We've been friends with everybody even the security guard
The ROOM is not a WOW Not so clean... water is brown... dusty room and very obvious recycled bed sheets
But then I spend all my day outside the hotel and so it's not a problem with us

On the 2nd day of my stay i called there front desk and ask a cup of ho water. But so sad., i felt asleep when i wake up its already morning and no cup of water was served. They didnt hear any from my end that morning. Again when i went to the hotel again after my class i ask again the front desk to plz give me cup of hot water and told them i ask it lastnight and no cup of water arrived. After a minute mu cup of hot water arrived. 3rd day no bottled water was served in my room. I call again the front desk why no water given to my room when it was supposed to be understood everyday water is served after a chnge of bed sheet give u hotel supplies like tissues , soap etc. Sorry again was heard from them. Ok! I said np. Then they brought me bottled water. But on that day i noticed my room was not cleaned. My hair coming from mu comb was still on the floor and the cup which was given to me the other day was still there tables are not wiped. CR are not cleaned. But because im tired. I didnt question them. But when i leave the room the 4thday morning i leave mark on the bed. And a surprise that mark was still there but pillows and blankets are well folded and arrange. I sleep that night with the same sheet. The fllwing day i leave a mark again till my last day of stay for short. On my last night i found out my bed sheets my pillow cases blankets are not being change. They dont clean the floor and agian they dont clean the CR. I call the housekeeping but no answer from there fone. I call the front desk to ask where there manger is. I want to let him see what there hotel has given me that kind of service. They said no manger duty during night time . So i let them go to my room to see the situation up on my room. No body would go up. Until that billboy went to my room ang gave me the water i ask. Then i let him see how dirty my room was. How could this hotel NEW DAWN PENSION do this to there client!!!!! They dont clean rooms. All u know was ur rooms were cleand bcoz ur sheet are well folded and groomed! But! It was not change. They decieve there customer. I stayed there for a week and nevr cahnge my beddings. How much more if ull stay there for 1nyght. Who would we know our sheets are change from previous guest staying there overnyt. Sooo disgusting! And the front desk said the manger would be there sunday 12noon , so we waited so we could talk to the manger personally. But no manger has faced us. Then bcoz were still going to travel we ask the front desk to tell the manger to call as so hell know our complain personally. Soo saad till now no calls from there manager. It was a bad xperienced from a hotel. You guest out there before you swim on your bed try to inspect if that sheet blankets and pillow cases are fresh and new.. Our complain from the hotel was last july 21-22,2018 Where already aug. 11, 2018. But till now we didnt hear from them. I paid 1,980 per night and that is what i get. No change of lenens nd cr not...
Read moreFrom the time I checked in Front Office Staff was snobbish. I asked clarification if the breakfast included is buffet or plated. I have no complaints about the room, but there are minimal stains in the sheets and pillowcase which I didn’t bother so much.
I was so tired that I decided to order room service for dinner. I clarified if I can settle the order in the front office upon checked out and the staff confirmed. 30 minutes after, the front office called me about my order that I have to pay it separately, and I ended up cancelling my order. I actually intended to compromise and continue my order but the front office staff hung up on me. It was really rude for a staff to hang up the phone while someone’s not done talking.
Fast forward, morning I called the front desk to ask where the breakfast is, and he said that I have to pay first. I clarified a day before that if the breakfast is included.
So yeah, overall, my stay here is one of the worst places I had stayed for an official business trip. My reaction would be so worse should I have been...
