Coming from Negros Occidental, my wife and I chose this inn for its strategic location suitable for the itinerary of our visita iglesia in Iloilo this year (2025) and most importantly for what our budget could afford. We are backpackers by experience and choice. When we checked in and saw our room in the fifth floor of the building without an elevator, we simply shrugged our shoulders after finding out how cramped our quarter was that we paid P1,000.00 for an overnight stay. After all, it was wider by far compared to a 3-man tent that we are no stranger to. It doesn't have a space for a cabinet but as I have said it's bigger than a tent. Yet, we chose it over a cheaper alternative room (P750.00) because this one has its own comfort room unlike the cheaper one that only has a shared CR. The room is air-conditioned and has a comfortable mattress. Belle and I opted to sleep side-by-side and left the upper bunk empty. We slept at around 9:30PM very well and uninterrupted until 7:30AM save for the intrusion of the alarm clock at 5:00AM. If that is not a measure of comfort, I don't know what is. In the fifth floor which is the topmost floor of the inn is some sort of a balcony (not cantilevered) where tables and chairs are placed for the use of the fifth floor occupants. Belle and I used it to eat our dinner (Mang Inasal packed meal) and breakfast (loaf bread and cup noodles using the hot water from the dispenser nearby). This inn sits along the main road of jeeps plying the Jaro-Iloilo City Proper route. Outside the inn, we could simply wait for a jeepney plying the Jaro Liku route or Tagbak route when we intend (which we did actually) to go to the Tagbak Terminal (either of the jeepney or Ceres bus) for the ride to Dumangas for the ro-ro vessel trip to Bacolod City. I mentioned "strategic". Our farthest church on that day was in Cabatuan which is about 23 kms from Iloilo City. The others are in Sta. Barbara, Pavia and the rest in Iloilo City. Before lunchtime, we had already visited 6 churches in the heat of the Sun without the benefit of adequate sleep (we started with a midnight trip to Dumangas from Bacolod). The 6th - the St Clement's Church - is just across the street. By 1:30PM (a half hour ahead of check-in time) we entered our room for a much needed re-charge of our batteries and sleep-deprived bodies. From the inn, we resumed our visita iglesia for the 7th and last - the Molo Church. This we did by commuting first to Iloilo City Proper (Socorro drop-off) and then to Molo Plaza. We returned in the Proper by dusk for our last task for the day - a walk in the Esplanade starting from Forbes Bridge. It was evening when we finished our 2.5-km walk with an additional half kilometer for the return to Urban Inn. That...
