There were many choices for hotels in Iloilo city but we chose this hotel even if it was older because of its location. Our choice did not disappoint. From getting picked up by Al in the airport to the check in process of Vyna in the front desk, our first impression was great. They took care of us well and even provided us with their wonderful personalities and also gave us nice recommendations. The room was a bit older but it was clean and well kept but more importantly, it was comfortable.||Because we arrived late, we opted to have the Saturday buffet dinner and that we enjoyed especially their famous Lengua. If you’re in Iloilo city proper, go there and have the Lengua, it was absolutely fantastic! The supervisor that evening, Paul, took very good care of us and made our dining experience memorable. ||The reason why I did not give them 5 stars is because my friend had trouble in his room with the hot water and it happened a few times. Something was wrong with the water system in the room they gave him but he was assisted properly when notified. The hotel should always make sure that when they give a room to a guest, it should not have...
Read moreThe Staff at the Days Hotel-Iloilo are all very professional and extremely accommodating. The hotel rooms, and restaurant, exceed many other local hotels in their decor and the many amenities they offer. The dining room serves a wide range of delectable entrees and side dishes. The dining staff are top notch! The Front Desk staff, led by Ms. Rizza Colacion, are extremely courteous, prompt and deliver five-star service every day! The hotel is located inside an enormous Mall that provides a secure environment as well as many shopping stores, including grocery and pharmacy! The Days Hotel-Iloilo met ALL our needs for an extended stay of three weeks, and the room rates were very affordable and quite competitive compared to other local hotels that offer much less. We are returning to Iloilo again in four months, so no need to guess where we will stay again - Days Hotel-Iloilo of course! We strongly recommend Days Hotel for all travelers,...
Read moreI could have rated this hotel excellent if only for the buffet breakfast. However during the first night we requested for service water as we already consumed the complementary bottled water. It was late and we believe that the stores are already closed. So disappointed that they did not serve us the water. Their wash basin sink has some leak and was fixed when we called their attention. The following night we went back to the hotel almost midnight and noticed that the floor in the entrance area is wet and learned that it was coming from the leak of the wash basin sink again. We requested to be transferred to another room but they tried to fix the problem again. Since it was holiday season we noticed too that the housekeeping does not complete the make up the room completely. So we have to ask them to clean...
