MaClare Resort — Hotel in Imus

Location is accessible. However, the resort itself is a big no. Receptionists were very not accommodating, there were hidden charges which we disliked, it was not discussed when we reached out through their fb page. Our 2-year old baby was charged for 350 pesos because the receptionist says the child "is big, she doesn't looked like 2-year old child" which offends us. She isn't even above 4-feet!

Also, we were not given an official receipt of our purchase upon payment, it requires us to defend we deserve a receipt, corkage fee isn't even applied on OR since the receptionist says she's nto knowledgeable about that. We defended what we paid must be reflected in the OR.

Experience-based. No lifeguard, or ecen life jacket (if they can't afford a lifeguard). No printed warning about the depth of the pool, only painted depth on floors which is not noticeable.

Public restrooms are not functional, such as bidets, toilet flushes, and shower rooms.

Hard to inquire about the extra activities they offer. Discrepancies eith regards to transparency of information from their attendants.

Total not a good experience. Even if we're gonna be banned of their services, we are not planning...

I would be returning to my summer hometown Anabu, Imus as long as I live. Glad that there is a resort nearby. I am very fond of my relatives here. I actually told the MaClare staff about my experiences below. Good sleep is very important for me. MaClare Resort was good for an event in the daytime. Their staff were friendly and polite. Our family reunion was fine.

These tips are for future Caviteno clients and other tourists. The Resort's directions could be better designed. Pinoy foods were tasty and served on time, like we had ordered. Recheck your Senior discount . Resort could change their final bill. Read the contract very well. However, if you plan to check in overnight, check if there will be swimming lessons early in the morning, so one could sleep in. Make sure the swimming hours are followed till 11 pm only, not 3 am. The number of occupants seemed inflated. Lastly, check if there will be staff overnight to talk with for valid concerns, like "very noisy...
