Now I know why it is the Extra long chicken sandwich in the Philippines and not the Original chicken sandwich I know from living stateside. First off the breading is different than what is used stateside, because it is more of a panko breading here, patty is leaner with higher quality cuts of meat, and tastes delicious. Stateside the breading is similar to what is used for onion rings. Love that I can still indulge in adding some bacon for a little extra money.
As a balikbayan raised in the states it is great to know that if I feel like having crispy golden brown BK onion rings, I do not have to travel too far from where I call home.

Read moreI usually enjoy Four-Cheese Whoppers (not from this specific branch), but the one I ordered from here was so "meh" that I couldn't even finish the burger! Same goes for their onion rings, it felt like eating cardboard! I hope that was just a one-time thing and/or whoever cooked that gets replaced.
If it's because of the pandemic which resulted in bad ingredients then I can't recommend eating here until they fix that. If this is a problem for all Burger Kings, well... there are other fast food restaurants...
