It used to be a good choice and new only a short while ago. Now it has met its Filipino fate already... Well intentioned, passably executed, immediately neglected. The elevator was out of order for all the 5 days that we wanted to use it. Apparently choosing an exotic manufacturer in the boonies was not a wise choice. We had to change room once because the toilet was leaking to the area below. The towel hanger in the bathroom falls off if you hang a towel on it. The doors of the shower cabin derail every time you open them. The one window in the room is locked closed. But having been fitted badly into the concrete structure, there is a big gap between the window frame and the surrounding wall, allowing all kinds of insects to come inside easily and rendering the aircon powerless. Lastly, I had requested a quiet room which prompted the front desk staff to assign me a room overlooking and overhearing the courtyard parking area, right above the meeting place for the outdoor...

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed, in my life. The people did not even look at you when we walked in the lobby like other hotels in the Philippines. When we checked in the room the bathroom or CR was dirty, the maintenance man had to come and fix the heater at 9:30pm. Because of no hot water. He also swiped a towel because the bathroom/CR floor was so dirty, the towel was black once he finished. The shower was old and many stains in between the tile, like mold. The walls of the room, had many stains too. The tv did not work for two days, they also charged me $500 pesos because they said they could not get a stain out of the towel. Realistically I did not bother to check prior, so I paid the $500 pesos I could have bought two maybe three towels based on the quality of the towels. Will never stay here...

I've definitely stayed in better, though I've also stayed in worse. Location was convenient, right off of a major thoroughfare, which has benefits and negatives. That would include ease of access to everything, but in return you can hear the traffic, and there is nearly no parking. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. There was a lot of grim build-up on the tiles in the bathroom. The hot water was on vacation in the shower. The blow dryer in the bathroom was also on its last leg. The AC unit sounded like it was trying to unalive itself. Reported that to the front desk when we checked out, they said had we said something sooner, they would've moved us to a different room. So I guess I can give them a pass, but I was tired enough that I didn't want to hassle with it, and dealt with it. I personally...

We had a nice stay here! Bedroom and comfort room were clean. Sheets were crisp and had a freshly laundered smell. Staff were pleasant and polite. They always greeted their customers with a smile. Location is very good. It is accessible to everything (shops, public/private transport, banks/atm, etc). Price is also affordable. Just right for the amenities the hotel provides. Will definitely be back here! PS:They have limited parking, so best to arrive early to secure a spot. Hotel also has no restaurant; but, do not fret since there are a lot of restaurants around the area (Jollibee, which is just a block away, is open 24/7). PPS: Booking with Agoda made me saved some ₱₱₱ 😊 Plus, it was really easy. Thanks 88 Hotel and Agoda!

If you're looking for an affordable hotel, this is the perfect spot. It's peaceful, not crowded, and the staff—especially the security guards—are incredibly friendly. Every time we went outside, they made sure to greet us, especially my daughter, with a smile and a warm "good day." Suggestion: It would’ve been helpful if the front desk informed us about the Hinugyaw Festival, since it was our first time in Koronadal. Also, a kettle, iron, and a wardrobe would make the stay more convenient, especially for a 2-night, 3-day visit. Overall, everything was great!
