First, the toilet has no bidet. Although they provided a dipper, the sink was at the other end of the comfort room, which was quite inconvenient whenever we run out of water. Second, we booked for a queen-sized bed. So we were disappointed to discover that the "queen-sized" bed is actually two single beds put together. And by the next morning, there was this visible line in the middle of the beds. Third, one of the single beds had bedbugs. By the second night, we didn't use the blanket anymore and used it to cover the beds instead. Fourth, there were no available and accessible power sockets. There were two beside the door and just above the floor, and another two were inside the comfort room: one near the sink, and the other placed above the mirror which I couldn't even reach. So we charged our phones in the comfort room, taking turns. Fifth, their breakfast options. There's meat with egg and fried rice. No dessert, soup, salad, or fruit juice. Sixth, there was no thermos in the room, thus, there were no packs of coffee or tea as well. Seventh, only two pillows were provided, one each for me and my husband. Good thing I brought another pillow. Eighth, there was only one Wifi access for all guests. The Wifi also kept disconnecting. Since there was no separate Wifi for the room, we were unable to connect when there were a lot of guests. Ninth, the towels were so old that they were not as absorbent as they should. Tenth, we were provided with only one room key and the door has no double lock. Lastly, although the TV had cable, a lot of channels were not available. We love staycations, and sadly, our weekend staycation could have been better had we not tried this hotel and instead booked at our usual hotel...
Read moreWe ate at the buffet for lunch we had a baby with us arrived at 1pm so their were seats although crowded but the big guy maybe manager insisted we sit outside where it was uncomfortable for my 6month old we voiced out but he insisted we can’t sit inside the aircon area since he claimed it was full but there is another section that’s aircon which he could have offered it’s at the back of the mini bar but he treated us like not paying customers not thinking we have a small baby and not even caring if we will be ok since the baby is uncomfortable so hot he just insisted to put a blower hello you don’t put a blower facing a baby the air will enter the soft spot in the head of a tiny baby making sick I ’m so disappointed with this place it even gave me n my family upset stomach to top it up went home we kept going to the toilet perhaps the food preparation is not as clean or the table water I do not recommend this place if you have small kids. Food is too greasy and the adobo in buffet and pancit is cold the pork in the other dishes too greasy not good in taste. Overall it was a awful experience too bad the place looked ok but the training is bad. By the way when you pay credit card expect to wait very long cus they have to swipe it downstairs. this place is not friendly for people who have small kids or baby think twice before going. Unless they improve the management this is my...
Read moreWell what can I say, the spectacular view pretty much does most of the selling here. They've kinda corralled the diners in the air conditioned section, leaving me nostalgic when we dined al fresco on the expansive terrace.
Service was great, though they got a little sidetracked when some TV actors breezed in ( they were shooting an episode) for a meal. There was complimentary bread, butter and homemade paté while waiting for your order.
There were eight of us who dined that night and we enjoyed their specials: appetizer of lumpiang ubod and sisig fritters (?). Had to order the lechon kawaii with bagoong of course. We ordered two kinds of soups which were a little too sour for comfort ( granted that they were sinigang). Curry pancit Canton, and bangus belly in some teriyaki-like glaze rounded up the main courses.
We tried one of each of the desserts and decided we liked the sans rival and carrot cake the most. It's an enjoyable experience coming over to this place.
Gotta check out their Sunday brunches...
