If you’ve read any of my reviews, you know I’m a mocha enthusiast—iced mocha, hot mocha, you name it. For me, a great mocha balances rich coffee with deep, chocolatey, nutty flavors, and Chapter Coffee Roastery & Café in Antipolo delivers just that. I’d go as far as to say this is one of the best mochas I’ve had—clearly prepared with skill, care, and passion.
The café itself is small but cozy, and while the space isn’t huge, it works well for its purpose. For brunch, I ordered their chicken longganisa with egg and fried rice. The longganisa was flavorful and well-seasoned, though it seemed like it was pre-prepared and simply reheated. Still, the taste was great. My only gripe? The serving felt a bit small for the price—a couple more pieces of longganisa would have made it perfect, especially given the generous portion of rice.
Now, back to what truly shines here—the coffee. I have to give major credit to the baristas, who clearly put in effort and precision into each cup. If you’re a coffee lover, especially a mocha fan like me, you’ll definitely appreciate what they offer.
Would I come back? Absolutely—for the mocha alone, if nothing else. Kudos to the team at Chapter Coffee...
Read moreMy favorite coffee shop in the Philippines. We've lived here for 2 years, and my wife chooses their oatmilk latte over any other coffee shop. Their matcha is also excellent: Last week I had a matcha latte there that was better than one I had at Matcha Tokyo. Sweetness level was just right when I said I wanted it just a little bit sweet. I am also impressed at the portion size for some of their baked goods. My wife and I ordered a revel bar and I thought they would cut a piece from the huge chunk in the baked goods case. Instead, the huge chunk appeared on a plate just for us! The atmosphere is quiet and cute (if a bit small--but that helps keep is quiet). And the head barista is excellent: friendly, professional, and remembers my wife's order every time. Sustainability bonus: They use edible straws and paper tops on their cups....
Read moreMy husband and I like this place so much that we travel from Makati to Antipolo just to visit. Hubs has a deep interest in coffee—not just the taste but also the origin of the beans and brewing methods. He even took barista training for fun, so he's quite picky with his coffee—the kind of guy who can identify tasting notes. He says this place serves some of the best coffee he's had within a driveable distance in Metro Manila.
I can't distinguish tasting notes myself, but I still find their coffee really good. The food is okay, but you'll definitely want to come here for the coffee. Hubs usually prefers an Americano or espresso, but we both enjoy their Spanish latte and affogato. The baristas are knowledgeable, and hubs loves having nerdy coffee...
