I made a reservation for this hotel for Feb 4 thru 7, 2020 through booking.com back in Dec 2019. I received an email from the hotel directly confirming my reservation. Everything was in order and so I thought. 24 hrs prior to the Feb 4, I received an email asking for confirmation, I replied confirming my reservation. To my surprise, I immediately received three texts simultaneously. Two of them thanking me for confirming my reservation and one of them cancelling my reservation. I called the hotel trying to understand why my reservation was cancelled and the reason they provided is that booking.com cancelled it. I checked my reservation with booking.com and my reservation is very much active. I contacted Booking.com who tried to call the hotel several times for a proper response but were experiencing such difficulties in reaching a live person. It would seem my reservation was made available for a higher rate which implies more $$ from me. I ended booking a reservation with another hotel instead. To my surprise, I received an email from the OYO hotel claiming my reservation was cancelled because 'the team could not contact you. For future reference, we suggest that you confirm your reservation to avoid such scenarios'. The audacity of shifting the blame to the customer is quite remarkable and left me utterly stunned and perplexed pondering just how this hotel is still in...

However, I like my room with a balcony in the front of the hotel. The infinity pool is smaller than what I expected but it has a great view. Beside the pool, there's a cafe bar restaurant where you can eat and drink a beer or coffee. I like the ambiance and it's instagramable. What more after the renovation was completed. It's near known attractions like Cloud 9 and Pinto Art Museum. Inside the room, there's an electric kettle, mugs and free coffee and water. There's no other cookware or tableware. The wifi's speed is just average. Nonetheless, I can say it is one of the best place for short staycations in Antipolo. I want to come back and excited to see what it looks like after...
