STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY, THAT GOES FOR FOREIGNERS SPECIALLY, AND LOCALS ( my partner is phillipina) and they had no respect for her either. THIS IS A LETTER of complaint that I have sent to trip.com about this hotel. Now ,I have stayed at this hotel before over the years, and it was a great hotel with great service and amenities, this is all gone now it is a shell of its former state. I think people should know what they are getting into, as sad as it is to see happening to a once great place to stay at. SOME OF THE ISSUES INTERNET NOT WORKING even staff couldn’t or wouldn’t get it working. ROOMS AND FITTINGS (PLUMBING) ALL OLD WORN AND TIRED LOOKING. NO HOT WATER, yes cold shower. DIRTY/TORN SHEETS. Had to get them (sheets)changed at check in. Have photos of that to. BROKEN GLASS TABLE, CORNER BROKEN AND EXPOSED, DANGEROUS TO SAY LEAST. STAFF HAVE RESORTED TO MAKING UP FEES, AND LYING TO YOUR FACE about commissions to third parties. POOL IS DIRTY,etc. Food is disgusting. All the staff can do is say yes sir yes Mam, sorry sir sorry mam, stop apologizing and do something practical about your short falls Zen Hotels. And if you can’t afford to ,lower your rates to reflect what you are providing. Zen hotels , is overrated now , seems like they have not invested any money into bettering the customer experience, in fact they have cost cut to the stage where they are not even worth 1 star. Well, I booked through trip.com and payed about $2448 peso , the hotel is charging me a further $450 peso saying that the room rate was $1890 peso and that agoda have an agreement with zen hotel and the extra is internal commission, can you explain how agoda is involved?.

Located on the Maharlika Hwy. in Villasis, Santiago City, Isabela, the hotel provides an economical place to stay when visiting the region. Accommodations can be described as basic and simple without any added perks other than a mid-size television, small refrigerator, floor safe, and air conditioning. There are no complimentary toiletries, so the onus is on the hotel guest to pick up soap and shampoo at one of the stores along the highway. Housecleaning on the other hand is completed daily where you have an opportunity to request fresh towels. Customer service really shines at this hotel. The majority of staff that we met were very well mannered, courteous, helpful, and always greeted guests with a smile. Personal attention afforded to us by some staff was not only highly appreciated, but played a very big role in our overall experience with the hotel. In general, the hotel itself is not only busy accommodating guests, but is also involved with holding conferences and meetings, photo shoots, and other special events. Additionally, the restaurant and cafe service is also popular among locals in the area because the quality of food is quite good. We chose the Zen Hotel because family and friends recommended it over all other hotels in the area. In Santiago City, the reality is that there really is not alot of choices with respect to hotel accommodations. Keep in mind that this is a three star hotel as is the competition in the vicinity. If you are arriving from North America, than do not expect the same kind of amenities and facilities to be found here. However, DO expect to find the hospitality and customer service at the Zen Hotel to be exemplary.

Did not expect much but i had great sleep during our stay here. The bed is comfortable and smelled good. The bidet is a bit short for right handed people. Water supply is good. We experienced a few power interruptions, the generator activates quickly. Wifi is okay. There was no fridge but I asked the receptionist on our 2nd day and I'm glad they had one available. Shops are around the area. Had buffet breakfast, coffee was brewed. The brown sugar have ants in it, i didn't mind tho.The pool is shallow.. can smell strong chlorine.. my 6yr old daughter and 4yr old nephew still enjoyed smimming in it. They have a singer serenading at night if you wanna chill at the bar/resto downstairs. Have a number of parking space available. I would say this is a good place to stay in Isabella.
