Read moreAs a Novice Review Traveler with a penchant for detail and analysis, my experience at Dahilayan Adventure Park in Bukidnon was a blend of exhilaration and contemplation. Nestled in the cool climes of Manolo Fortich, the park offers a respite from the tropical heat with its lush greenery and refreshing mountain air.
The Zipline Experience: The highlight of the park is undoubtedly Asia's Longest Dual Zipline. Launching from 4,700 feet above sea level, I found myself hurtling through the air at speeds up to 90 kph. The sensation was akin to flight, and the panoramic views of the verdant landscape were simply breathtaking.
Activities and Amenities: Beyond the zipline, the park offers a variety of activities. The luge ride, though showing signs of wear, provided a fun descent. The ATV rides and rope courses added to the adventure quotient. However, I noted that some equipment appeared dated and in need of maintenance. The life vests and helmets, for instance, could benefit from more rigorous cleaning protocols, especially in these times of heightened health awareness.
Culinary Delights: The culinary offerings at the Cowboy Grill were a pleasant surprise. The salisbury steak was a hearty meal, with generous portions that justified the price. The quality of the beef was evident, and it was a satisfying end to an action-packed day.
Accommodations: The accommodations provided comfort after the day's exertions. The rooms were spacious and clean, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff's hospitality was commendable, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
Final Thoughts: Dahilayan Adventure Park is a gem for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in the upkeep of facilities, the overall experience is one of adventure and relaxation. It's a place I would recommend to those seeking an escape from the mundane, with the caveat of checking the latest reviews for updates on maintenance...
Read moreAvailed All In and for the ease of comfort in securing ticket, I booked via Klook. Although, I heard that park is overcrowded and queues can be crazy during weekends, we went there on Jan 2 and experienced it myself. 😔
No instructions/signages on the queues of the attractions particularly the 840 zipline. Kept asking people in the queue to confirm it’s the correct line
Staff at their redemption booth does not provide clear and accurate instructions to customers. Redemption of tickets are VERY inorganized, I was approached by a lady staff and told her I booked via Klook, she asked me to sign the waiver and directed to walk straight to line up for the rides only to find out that a ticket/sticker will have to be issued separately after queueing for the line and waiting for the rain to stop. The assistant at the zipline assisted me back to the main ticket book and the lady who approached me to sign the waiver gave me another queue no. for me to wait for the ticket issuance. I politely explained that she already asked me to sign the waiver and instructed me to get in to the rides and potentially skip the line and issue me the ticket as she already instructed me to sign and head straight inside til the scenario got escalated and none of the staff tried to listen and keep telling me I need to wait for my no. I requested for a refund but they insisted and the cashier finally issued me the ticket without any apologies. Very disappointing experience. On top of that, since I availed All In, where only 2 attractions are opened and all remaining attrations were closed. There are other ziplines in Mindanao like at South Cotabato that caters better view especially with very warm service from staffs. Tourists or non-locals, think carefully before deciding to head over there although...
