Planning a trip here? MUST READ!
Important Notes:
• Budget travelers: Bring your own food. • Dress warmly: Wear a jacket. • Weather: Pack an umbrella; it's often foggy and may drizzle. • Attitude is key: Despite potentially poor customer service, try to enjoy the experience and don't let negativity spoil your day.
The view was good, but very poor customer service. The staff were incredibly inhospitable. My colleague and I arrived excited to take photos, but the security guard angrily refused our request, claiming he was "on duty." We had to take the pictures ourselves. I let it slide initially, as our excitement outweighed the rudeness. However, this was just the beginning. Almost every staff member we encountered was unfriendly and unhelpful. Perhaps they were overwhelmed by the number of visitors.
We waited in line for tickets, only to be brusquely told they were on a break. A simple, polite explanation would have sufficed. Next, we queued for over an hour at the restaurant (arriving at 11:00 AM, ordering around 11:30 AM, and receiving our food almost an hour later). The food was overpriced, adding insult to injury.
After lunch, we finally got our tickets and chose the go-kart and mountain activities. The free shuttle was packed, which was fine, but the staff were careless while loading zipline equipment onto the shuttle. They hit my brother's foot with a metal piece and didn't even apologize.
The customer service was atrocious. If they were struggling to manage the crowds, they should have implemented better staffing solutions. We worked hard for our trip, and while we are tourists, that doesn't mean we're wealthy. We don't get to travel often, and this experience was incredibly disappointing. We hope improvements will be made.
One shining exception: A kind older gentleman near the stairs in the forest area was incredibly polite and welcoming. He greeted everyone with a smile, offered words of encouragement to my exhausted brother ("Take your time, rest if you're tired"), and even bid us farewell with well wishes. His kindness was a stark contrast to the rest of...
Read moreGreat hideaway from the cacophony of the city. Been there thrice the latest was on 28 Feb - 1st Mar 2018 overnight stay. Pollution-free environment with cool atmosphere throughout the day and a bit chilly moonlight night. Reception quality of service was excellent. A better quality of food at the 'forestparkfireplace' however the delay in serving made me more hungry to wait. Still it's fine because the internet strong wifi made time passed fast. Picnic grounds and playground are well-maintained. The staff were helpful. Good housekeeping. Clean comfort rooms. The LUGE ride experience was real fun and timely because not as sunny. We're in room #3 the sliding partition of shower room was hard to close. We left it as is. So nice watching the sunrise right at the door. It was great to photo-shoot nature and did selfie from the moment of arrival until we left. Thankful to the friendly and helpful staff for their assistance. Well, about value for money just make sure to have enough budget if you are decided to visit. You will find the difference on your actual experience and your enjoyment. There are possible event and activity that money cannot buy. The facilities are so far so good with very pleasant ambiance. I agree it's really "The ultimate family...
Read moreWe really had a great time here! I was with my family and planning your trip here especially with kids is a must! The crowd was in high volume when we went here, and the line in tickets and rides was expected - thus you can still enjoy the view, and the experience of some adventurous people you meet. The kids had so much fun! Maybe the only thing we got disappointed was their service. They are really expecting a huge volume of visitors, so they should double time or maybe add staff to have a better experience.
We availed the P800/hd package + P150 for rainbow slides and it was worth it considering some of the rides were pricey if you purchase it alone.
We went there around 11am and got finished around 4pm. if the service was fast, we could have finished all the rides by 2pm, and still be able to try some extreme rides at Adventure Park.
There is a restaurant inside - but if you are looking for budget friendly food, there are stalls outside. Or you can just bring your own food and get a picnic table instead.
sorry, NO PETS ALLOWED. expect to bring head caps or head covers, jackets as the weather changes from time to time. Spacious parking but if there are too many visitors, you might have a hard time finding. be early to...
