Jannex Pensionne — Hotel in Mindanao

The room we got initially was booked online, where in shared CR was not indicated. We upgraded to a room good for 2 persons with own CR. The room was perfectly fine and clean, only that the glass door facing the road wasnt covered by any curtains which made us uncomfortable thinking if we're seen outside .Hehe... Anyways, we just learned that its better to book through walk in since its much cheaper, but since we're back packers and not accustomed to the place we just have it booked ahead to make sure of a place we can stay overnight before heading to our appointment...

Clean rooms (single and double room w balcony we got) and reasonable price--Very Inexpensive. Not PWD/ elderly friendly though. Best for young people. Staff are very helpfil and professional. Nice double room w balcony but beware-- the noise in front of the hotel wont make you sleep early. The best thing about this hotel is it is walkable to many places. The city hall. The beaitiful park w century old trees. Stores and good places to eat are within less than a km radius. Warning:no parking...

We spend one night there. First, it’s very noisy (the restaurant in front has a guitar player that you can hear very well).|The bed are not bad.|We used one towel to put on the floor because the bathroom became wet and slippery as hell and I felt on the floor.|When we left at the morning, the manager told us the towels was too dirty, so we had to pay 300 pesos!!! Really?! |The staff was non cooperative.|A real scam to get pesos. |You should avoid...
