This hotel is referred by the trike driver i got from the airport when i asked him for the nearest hotel near the pantalan 2 or pier 2 where the fast bancas going to Siargao docks. This hotel is walking distance to the pier. From the hotel, just turn right at the corner of Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshop and it will take you to the docking station of the boats beside the coast guard station. This hotel was opened 2 years ago and it was another branch of the EY Miner Suites. I was given a standard aircon room at the 3rd floor. Sorry to say but this hotel has no elevator. The room is nice. It got a flat screen tv and an split type inverter aircon unit, a cabinet with hangers, a table and the double bed. Toiletries are free. While the bed sheets and linen are clean, it has a smell, which indicates that these linens are not dried well. The price of the standard room is Php1250. inclusive of breakfast and Php995 without breakfast. They only offer breakfast and lunch. The staff are nice too. Btw, their wifi signal is really fast even if you're inside your room. So if you are planning to go to Siargao this is the hotel to be, although if you really want a hotel in front of pantalan dos, choose the Boulevard...
Read morebeen here several times on my trips across from the island , and i will say the staff are very friendly and helpful along with the hotel being very clean everywhere , i cannot complain about 90 % of this place i have recommended it many times , but they have a few issues , that seem never to be fixed , the major issue is the walls are so thin , in fact so thin you can hear 3 to 4 rooms down what is going on , not great for the adventurous at night , and the top floor ! it is so hot up there the air con in the rooms just cannot cope with the heat generated down from the metal roof , we have asked several times for a fan to be added to circulate the thin cold air coming through and after several trips to the front desk they have given us one , but we have never been moved to a lower room for some unknown reason , if this place gets busy like it very often does and you are offered the top floor i would seriously think of going somewhere else until another room on the lower floor becomes available , apart from these 2 issues it really is in a great position for the port and reasonably priced for the room , and the staff are great , good for a single guy ,but not for the newly married, beware of the...
Read moreHoping for a relaxing weekend away with my fiance but we were very disappointed. One would expect to get what one pays for but not so. At first we were given a room with no curtains that looked out over a construction site with men standing at our toilet and bathroom window. On complaining they gave us a sheet to cover the window but I wouldn't accept that so the owner gave us another room. Okay I thought, but the TV didn't work, the WiFi didn't work and there was no hot water! The 3 things I was really looking forward to. Our free breakfast consisted of cold rice and an egg with a 3 in 1 coffee. Only the bacon was hot. I asked why is it cold and the cook said they keep in the fridge. Hmmmm, so disappointing. The rooms were nice but they are extending the hotel so if you do stay there make sure that you get what you pay for (check TV, WiFi and hot water). Also demand breakfast be cooked fresh and don't get a room next to where they are renovating as it could...
