Writing this in 2022 by the way. I already read old reviews and I echo their sentiments. Surely this property does not bother with customer's feedback. The place is randown not maintained well. When I arrived at the hotel, I thought I was at the wrong floor because dirty sheets and other equipments and supplies were scattered at the hallway. Floors doesn't seem to be mopped. Found dead and alive cockcroaches on the stairs. Their employee/maintenance room's door is open and located near the evelator. You could peek at the employees chatting away. Though they're helpful with assisting guests find the room. Door is hard to open. Room smelt ancient. Broken tile floors. TV and fridge not working. Chairs hasn't been cleaned since there are obvious stains. There was also a dark liquid under the glass table, almost seemed like it was out of a crime film. The phone was on the floor. The bath and toilet was a bit okay. The complimentary soap was placed hapzardly, and used tissue was still there. Overall, if you're looking for a staycation, this is not recommended, but it works if you're out of options since the bed size is big and aircon still works. Another thing, buy your own water outside. The front store does not sell bottled water because it is...
Read moreAfter a whole day of travelling, you want to take a rest and sleep as comfortable as possible. As I entered the hotel, the place has a rustic design and the reception handled the customers good but not great. When I arrived to my hotel room, the door had instructions on how to open it. It's a standard key door, with a design of a keyless/card door, I know it's confusing. As I tried to open it, the key is hard to turn and it took me like 3-4 minutes to open their door. When I entered the room, I checked the bathroom, bed and tv to make sure it's clean, but it's truly disappointing to say that their bath room is filthy. I noticed that their bathroom has been used and wasn't cleaned, it's all wet and the unchanged toilet paper is soaking wet. I also checked their curtains were there are noticeable dirt smudges, their TV doesn't work, their Air conditioner is old and dirty, in a way that you're scared to adjust it otherwise it might broke, and their lamps are busted and full of cob webs. I immediately called the front desk and request to clean the room, but even after the house keeping cleaned it, still I felt uneasy sleeping in that place. I was also told that their free breakfast is just one slice of bread and a can of tuna. Not...
Read moreIt was going to be our very 1st overnight in Pagadian city. I have tried calling and texting most of the hotels that I can come up with before heading to Pagadian city, Facebook or google. But most of them do not respond or they're mute after that.||Yes, there are probably affordable, clean and safe hotels in Pagadian but how to contact them is difficult.||Before checking in to this hotel, we went to a couple of hotels but either are full or so expensive. They have good for two (2) free breakfast only; but what about our other company. None.||The hotel Pagadian Bay plaza Hotel is somehow okay but it needs renovation. Walls in our shower has full of molds. Cracks on ceilings. And the key holes are so tricky to open. Anyway, in fairness, the place is affordable. We paid Php 1700 gor four (4) people. We had the deluxe room. One (1) matrimonial bed and a twin bed. We had free breakfast for two (2). Paid the rest. Php90 per breakfast meal. No safe parking area. It's a first come first serve basis.||To sum it all, we had a good night sleep. We'll go back if for an overnight stay but not more than that.||Photos below are from the Pagadian Bay Plaza Hotel last December...
