We checked-in at this resort for 3 nights and 3 days for a seminar/'gala'. And it is quite a nice stay, though there could be several improvements which can be done.||||In terms of the location, this is a dive resort. It is situated on top of the cliff, overlooking the water. So there is no beach area/ sand. So your expectations should be clear. But I hear this is a spectacular place for snorkeling and diving (though we weren't able to experience said activities because the weather was quite bad). I personally love snorkeling. If not for the bad weather and ominous waves, I think just by wearing a life vest and my snorkeling gear and I'll be having quite a great time. I just hope they have their own dive shop, offering their own dive packages/classes.||||Well, if one could not enjoy the ocean, you definitely can enjoy the pool. It's just a simple pool, but it's very clean, clear and not too heavily-laden with chlorine. The pool water doesn't sting the eyes and that's what I love about it best. I just hope they place an outdoor shower and restroom near the pool.||||In terms of the rooms, some rooms are good. The good rooms give you a very home-y feel and most of the rooms even have their own 'attitude' thanks to the paintings and interior decor. But some rooms are quite old. They also need a little bit of cleaning and updating because some of the materials are rusted (shower heads, sinks). The televisions provided in the rooms weren't even functioning. Certain rooms even have low water supply/pressure but the hot&cold showers work out just fine. ||||The outside environment is very relaxing. The landscaping is good. I suggest they plant more colorful flowers. I would have enjoyed it better if not for the bad weather. It was a really good place for photos.||||In terms of food offered, I don't know if it is because we were the only ones present in the resort at that time, but the menu is very much lacking. There was basically no constant menu available, but they just offer certain dishes and usually it is by request (like they would ask if we want to have this for dinner and they will buy and cook for us) . Don't get me wrong, the food tastes good, but I think I just expect more being in a different island. Usually when I travel, I look for a signature dish of the place. They offered a certain type of grilled fish on the last day, though I don't think that would count because it tasted similar to the fish we have back home. I also hope they could offer food 24H. We had some night swimming and got hungry but there was no staff/food available. ||||In terms of service, the owner was very kind and accommodating. We experienced some plumbing problems in our room and he was kind to offer other rooms until it was repaired. He was present most of the times (he lives in a house in the resort) and attends to our needs. As for the resort staff, they were kind and helpful. I just hope they could be a little bit more 'pro-active', though I guess there is a language barrier problem during our communications. ||||All in all, you can still have a good time here. But with certain updates and improvements, it could be an even...

It was an overall good stay. We were there for a family outing and that was what made it worth it. We stayed there for 3 days. ||||Anyhow this place is really like a retreat house. For their bathrooms are big & they provide hot & cold showers which was nice with good water pressure. There wasn't an exhaust for the bathroom but a window. It didn't really suffice to stop the smell from wafting towards the room when someone needed to go. ||||There was no wifi in that area and even though we brought our devices, such as broadband internet and wifi devices it seemed that there was only signal for Globe devices so we were cut off from the internet. The rooms were not that clean. It was dusty and smelled old. However when we complained about that they took it up a notch and really cleaned it better. ||||We got free breakfast(i think) but for lunch and dinner it'd be best to eat out or buy outside then bring it inside the room. Theres not much too choose from. ||||It'd be best if one could get their own van or taxi or just any person who would know how to go around bohol since this place is located quite far from other areas. The transport the place offered is expensive. We were really lucky though that one of the drivers of the transpo was a good tour guide and suggested us a lot of places to go to. The place is relaxing though.||||The dive shop isn't owned by the same people managing the rooms. There are a lot who do go to this area just to dive but don't actually stay over. ||||This really is a dive resort since when we went to snorkel it wasn't really that friendly and was kind of scary. there were a lot of fishes which was good but the terrain presented a sheer drop and you couldn't venture that far unless you had a lifevest and flippers that could go against the strong current. ||||The staff was really friendly though. They were really ready to help us with anything we needed. The pool was quite small but really clean. This place just needs improvement. oh yeah one could go cliff diving too since we saw locals doing it but cliff diving isnt in our...

The resort never replied to our airport transfer inquiries. Leaving us stranded at the Panglao airport at 2am at night, at the mercy of taxi scammers.||2. The AC is horribly noisy! Need to switch it off at night. But then you can't breath. Opening windows no option, because no mosquito net.||3. Their mandatory snorkeling "guide" trashed my GoPro! I told the reception about it. However they just found excuses, protecting their guide and themselves. From an international resort I would expect a different behaviour!!! I asked via email and WhatsApp call and WhatsApp message several times the contact of the big Manager. But they don't give the name and contact details! They try to hide that their employee trashed my valubale GoPro.||4. The "marine sanctuary" and reef in front of their resort is horrible: almost all corals dead ; very few fish, apart from sardines. Lots of trash floating in the water and stuck in algae. You pay an environmental fee for what??? ||5. The whole resort and people in the area try to scam you big time. When trying to buy a SIM card, a local guy offered "help" to drive us to a sari sari. We knew we wanted Globe and Smart SIM cards. He and the vendor of the sari sari store insisted that TM SIM card is also globe. Now it turns out that they scammed us big time: it's way worse than the original Globe SIM. So they just wanted to sell their TM SIM card. Even though the guy driving us said before he'll help us search for Globe...

I lost my gopro12 assisting a Korean kid who got problem with his snorkel . as a day tour guest for freediving and as local tourist they said they are too busy to help , the stealer left my gopro handle just took the camera. They said it was tourists who steal it. Which I see impossible most visitor there is Korean I don't think they will keep it for themselves . Terrible management all they want is money from foreign tourists. And trash aside local tourist. Felt like a dog barking at the wrong trees there. . And paying local government to keep their schemes. I went in barangay to file a complaint barangay officials said I couldn't coz I'm not from there. Yet I Still kept going. They thought I will just go leave the place because I'm not from there . Since lots of Korean come and go there and without thinking just paying everything to greedy people.. It should be a sanctuary of fish no private infrastructure there. Somebody already planted corals .

I love the peaceful and quite surroundings. The SARDINES RUN and the protected ocean area captivates my desire to swim every morning for the whole week I was there, plus the pool that's right infront of my room is awesome. And most of all, the staffs are so polite and kind.

A must-see dive spot at Panglao. There's a shallow but active reef that terminates at a steep underwater cliff. Schools of sardine regularly swarm close to the shore. It is deep enough for scuba enthusiasts or freedivers testing their mettle.
