ATTENTION: To the Owner or Manager of this Coffee Shop
My friends and I visited your shop on April 18.
On our first visit, my friend paid for our orders. On our second visit (after swimming), I paid for both my coffee and my friend's. The next day, April 19, my friends visited the shop again. As soon as they entered, your staff told them: โYou didnโt pay yesterday you guys just leave without payingโ To avoid embarrassment, my friends paid againโeven though we had already paid the day before.
Later, one of my friends messaged me asking, โDidnโt you pay yesterday? The staff asked for payment so I just paid again.โ
Then today, April 20, I went back to your shop to talk to the manager or owner. But your staff said no one was available. I asked to see the CCTV footage, and they said itโs not working.
How is that acceptable? If something serious happened in your shop, and your CCTV isnโt working, thatโs a big safety concern. On top of that, the staffโs only solution was to refund the moneyโbut this is not just about money anymore.
This situation affected my reputation. I feel embarrassed that my friends thought I didnโt pay. If they hadnโt told me, I wouldโve never known the staff asked them for payment again.
My main point: Your staff acted dishonestly, trying to get extra payment from guests. This is not just a mistakeโit looks like a scam. So to future customers: Be careful. Always pay directly at the counter and ask for a receipt. If you or your friends come back the next day, they might claim you didnโt pay.
Alsoโthey donโt give change immediately. You have to ask for it, or theyโll treat it like a tip. If you forget to ask, theyโll just keep it.
This is unacceptable behavior. I hope the management takes this seriously and fixes how the staff treats...
