STAY AWAY- THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. TLDR: NO ONE CLIFF DIVES AT THIS "CLIFF DIVING RESORT"
First off, there is a "government" desk outside that charges 100 pesos per person or more. It's just a guy sitting at a desk with a ledger. It's not at all clear what he is charging for. It's also not clear that you're going to have to pay more times after you enter. There are hardly any signs. Nothing looks official.
Then, you have a desk just inside the gates of the "resort." You have to pay again, and they will nickel and dime you to death. Again, not enough signage; the only signs that are there are inside the fence, not outside; and the prices are not clearly marked and they don't seem to make sense.
Then, you get to the "diving board" which looks nice like you see in the picture. BUT, the water does not look deep enough. And, no one is jumping. And, there is a sign blocking the board saying it's closed. And, the water below was filled with snorkelers and scuba divers. One of those snorkelers was standing in the water very close to the area below the diving board, and the water only came up to his waist.
When we asked why no one was cliff diving at this cliff diving resort, first they just opened the board immediately and told us to jump. I asked how they knew it was deep enough to jump safely, and the only answer was "because I know" and he looked angry that I asked him that. Then I said it looks like a scam, and the man angrily said that his grandmother owns it and that it's not a scam and stared at me. Then he gave us our money back before we even asked.
At best, this place is a waste of time. Look through these reviews- a bunch of them look fake. It still looks like...
Read moreEXPENSIVE SHIRT GOT STOLEN AND INSTEAD OF PUTTING IT IN LOST AND FOUND ONE OF THE WORKERS THERE CLAIMED IT AND LIED TO ME AFTERWARDS!!!!
Don't go there! One of the workers stole my Ralph Lauren shirt after I forgot it there. I texted them the moment i got home on the same day if they saw a shirt but nobody saw it. I recognize it a few months after I came back.
One of the maintenance/janitor guys just took it and I confronted him. He claimed his brother sent it from USA. Yeah sure, buddy. You wear like 4000 peso shirts to do clean the bbq. Now there are all stains on it.
U pay 50 or 100 pesos in this scam place. I've brought so many people there to experience it, I never asked any comission or anything. I legit liked being there, but then they steal my shirt and can't be honest???
The management is not reliable for lost items? But someone from that buisness stole it. It's not even about the shirt. It's about the principle.
You pay entrance fee, so that shows you're a buisness. Then you should also be able to put that in the lost and found instead of claiming it for yourself.
Would have been a total different story if I forgot it at the beach.
Again, principle, not the shirt.
Just to think how many tourists have lots their stuff and never got it returned there. These people...

The sign out front says 100 pesos for environmental fee each, then you have to pay 100 pesos for a guide per person (even though it's only one guide per group and no way to avoid having a guide, even if you are a strong swimmer and understand marine conservation and not to touch corals). We assumed this was all the costs but no! They then catch you out and make you pay 100 pesos entry fee each to access to the water which is not shown anywhere. If you need to hire snorkelling equipment, that will cost you on top as well.
The woman behind the counter at Molave Cliff Diving Resort was extremely unfriendly and rude when we asked why we have to pay the 100 pesos entry fee, what is it for? It is not clear at all! They will take all you are worth if they could. Feels like a big scam that ruins the experience. You are limited to 45-1 hour snorkelling time. And there are tonnes of people penned into a small area, prepare to be kicked in the face and hit by a lot of tourists that can't swim.
That said the snorkelling is good by the drop off and lots of shoals of sardines but nothing spectacular and unusual. It is hard to not feel resentful about the experience as a whole. Where is all this...
