Lourdes Inn — Hotel in Parañaque

Staff tried to take 1000pesos deposit for each room without previously mentioning it when rooms were originally booked. Explained that this policy was decided just three days ago. We refused to pay the deposit and staff continued to talk about toilet clogging, poop, tissue, how other residents loose keys and they do not have any spare ones and how expensive it is to make one. Rooms itself are ok, lots of space, table, mini kitchen, good wifi. Sink was leaking so if you are sensitive to sounds - might be hard to sleep. There were no hooks or hangers in the rooms or bathroom. One of the rooms didn't even had shower gel or shampoo, other one did. No drinking water. We chose to stay here for 1 night between travelling from London to Bohol in the south of the Country.||||Was apprehensive at first as we walked from airport (silly decision, get a taxi) down busy roads and not too nice areas however once we arrived we were in a security guarded, walled off area of Manila which was quiet and lovely.||||The hotel staff were nice, kind and helpful. Assisting us with booking a taxi and recommending a place to eat that night. The rooms themselves were clean, spacious and had excellent facilities. They take such great care to ensure their guests feel their guests feel at home. I was pleasantly surprised, even when they are under pressure to check me in at an unusual time, they do it with pride and hospitality. They made every effort to ensure I felt comfortable. The bed was comfortable! I was so worried because I've slept on some rock hard ones in Thailand lol. Jarrod went out of his way to secure my taxi to the airport when Grab drivers were too busy.
