I booked a ‘Budget Room with Wifi’ for 5 nights. The room was discounted to PHP1,000 / night including taxes. It excluded breakfast.||The room came with aircon, hot water shower, cable tv, and in-room wifi.||I decided to add 2 more nights to the front of that booking but there were no Budget Rooms left … so, I booked a Standard Room with Wifi for those extra nights at PHP1,300 / night.||When I checked in, they upgraded me for all 7 nights to a Standard Room with Wifi; which was nice of them … they weren’t full.||The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed with furniture.||The ensuite was good but you had to sit sideways on the toilet because there was no leg room.||The hot water shower was good and the water pressure was reasonable.||The cable tv had movie and sports channels.||The in-room wifi signal was good and the speed was good.||They also have a very pleasant Restoraunt area next to a pool.||The restaurant is mid range with a typical breakfast costing PHP195 and simple meals for PHP200-300. The wifi in the Restaurant area was poor.||Alas, the restaurant service left much to be desired. In fact, I never ate breakfast there in the whole 7 days. On my first morning I sat down for breakfast and waited 10 minutes for someone to serve me … I was the only person there! … I lost patience and asked for a menu … after another 30 minutes of not seeing a menu, I left and went next door. The Seashore Resort next door served breakfast at half the price of the Sabang Inn and brought the menu to your table as you sat down.||In fairness, it was he end of the season and I saw them at...
Read moreAs a beginner to diving I was a little nervous but chose Sabang Inn because of the prior good reviews and the first impressions of the place. The staff here are awesome, friendly and I really felt part of a little community rather than just another beginner. Special shout out to Mia on reception for all her help with our booking. We stayed at the resort and they were kind enough to upgrade me and my friend to a fairly decent room. Nothing amazing but it was clean enough with aircon and we were here for the diving, not the room. The resort itself is pretty average - very quiet and little nightlife beyond the creepy old men in the bars with their young Filipino 'girlfriends'. 3 days here diving was enough for me. Hobert, our instructor was brilliant - patient, calm and friendly and a good sense of humour - thoroughly recommend learning with him. The kit we borrowed was good quality and we saw lots of decent sights on our dives - barracuda, tuna, batfish and turtles. From talking to more experienced divers, the deeper dives were great too with the other dive masters. Loved the little ceremony we had when we finished to celebrate our qualification - really made it feel special and good fun. Would have loved to stay with this place for Advanced open water but sadly had to leave the island. Def check...
Read moreThe Sabang Inn is mainly used by divers, but seeing the room and location I decided to book for 5 days, that was a great decision. The room was beautiful and roomy the swimming pool was located three metres from my room and there was a great chill out room overlooking the Sea. Now the best part of the review . The staff at this hotel were the best I ever had in the Phillipnes. The cleaners had a beautiful towel display evry day it was different, the owner was also very helpful, Mia on reception was a star nothing was to much trouble for her she helped us organise trips which made my stay very enjoyable . The restaurant was excellent and reasonable but Jules and Bing and the other waitresses always there for a big smile and...
