Angelic Mansion — Hotel in Puerto Princesa

Let me enumerate all the RED FLAGS of this hotel.

ANGELIC INN turns HELLS INN: They are fully booked and cant accommodate us because they're not affiliated with klook or Expedia (then hello what will happen to this booking that WE ALREADY DID LAST NOV 2023??)

No APOLOGIES from the staff. For the first night they booked us in another hotel with ONLY A FAN ROOM and A LOT OF MOSQUITOS (we payed for an air conditioned room and this only what we get? We came from 6-7 hours of drive and this is what we get? Take noteee the surrounding is chaotic because of the PERYA is just on the side of the inn where they booked us)

Again, no APOLOGIES from the staff. So they advised us that tomorrow morning 7 am we'll go back to the angelic inn to have a breakfast and finally check in to our room. Our first tour is 8 am so imagine the rush what we did ONLY TO FIND OUT AGAIN that we cant still check in to our room.

I am mad, actually, IM FURIOUS. We dont have a room where we can prepare for the tour, we dont have a proper sleep yet and my friend is in pain because of dysmenorrhea. STILL NO APOLOGIES FROM THEM.

I told them that im mad that this should be fixed already because it's not our fault that they're having problems with Expedia.

NO APOLOGIES, again. When we get back from the tour on that same day, we got greeted by the staff but NOT A WELCOMING ONE. The staff is mad because I GOT MAD earlier (OMG IM SO DONE WITH THIS TRIP, you ruined this trip angelic inn) i walked out because i don't the energy to that rude staff who cant even apologize to us. We are not the first one who experienced this so this should be fixed before why do you guys let this happened again?

Overall, we didn't maximize our payment. WORST NIGHT if you can book to another inn please do so, don't waste your energy to this TRASHY HOTEL AND RUDE STAFF.

DEFINITELY NOT AN...

Me and my 2 grown daughters recently stayed here July 8 to 11,2023. The services are okay except for one staff by the name of Margie who was not so helpful to us. She gave us a small room good for 2 pax only and placed a small bed in between. It was completely different from the one they showed us when we made our booking. When I complained she insisted that there is no more room available. I was so furious but we had no choice but to stay in that very uncomfortable small room during our first night that has NO WATER HEATER in the bathroom and the POWER OUTLETS WERE STICKING OUT! Next morning I was assisted by Janet who was very helpful. Apparently there was still room available good for 3 pax! I was so angry that I wanted to get a refund already! So we were moved the next day to a bigger room. But I will not forget that awful experience with that staff Margie who according to Janet when she asked Margie if we were told beforehand about the small room, Margie replied “wala na silang magagawa” . Imagine that?! What kind of service is that?! In addition, my Iphone earphone went missing right after they moved our luggages to the bigger room. Angelic Mansion in PPS looks a lot better than their El Nido sister counterpart, Angelic Tourist Inn

Their rooms & bathroom are a bit bigger than the one in El Nido.

The airport is approx 5 mins away from the hotel, plus airport transfer is readily available for us.

They were also ready with our rooms for our late night check in (11 pm) with fast turnover/endorsement of the room.

Breakfast is available, abit light for my liking.

The front desk was kind enough to keep our luggages since we checked out early then had a day tour before our flight.

The receiving area is abit small since it is in the same area as the kitchen and dinning place, which was totally fine :)

Almost all of our requests were catered to (with kindness) which was very nice!

One con that I can think of is the sound proofing. We can hear the people talking in the hallway of our room, and also those who came in their rooms late at night. It really worked me up every time someone openes/closes their door. Everything else is good :)

For a budget hotel, this is pretty decent for the price, in my opinion :)
