Lola Charing Pension — Hotel in Puerto Princesa

I was here last June1, 2015 with my kids...at first I was so disappointed because the "location map" is not their actual location.The Map shows that they were located at the heart of the city but it is not...It is far away from the city, about 2 kms from Robinson's Place...|The place was nice in fairness, the staff was helpful and all out smile...|I booked a family room good for 4 adults and 2 kids, but when I arrived, they insist that I only booked for 2 adults...a lot of blahblahblah until they agreed to accommodate us on the said room but I need to pay the extra kid (7 yrs old) which consider as 1 adult for P275 pesosess includes breakfast.My printed Voucher from TravelBook.ph saves me for this because if i hadn't printed it out and showed to them, I might be paying more for the said room.|Our room was in the 3rd floor of that building...The room was too small for a" family room" but its fine with us because it's clean, with hot&cold shower and has a Big Veranda.The place was peaceful and a homey ambiance.|The breakfast setting was in the little Bamboo Hut.|They have a Generator for Electric Fan and Lights only during electric interruption.|They have a menu list for a breakfast set for only P75.00 but the lady charge me P120.00 :(.|To summarized all these, if you want a quieter place and away from the city to relax then you will like this place otherwise don't...

The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was ready upon waking up. The hotel is located inside barangay san manuel in the middle of a residential area. Approximately 2.5 to 3kms from the highway, and from there a few kms away to the city center. The best way to commute is to ride a tricycle going in or out of Brgy Manuel (php8 fare), and ride a multicab from the highway to the city center (php13 fare). But multicabs are only until 9pm, and if youre good at haggling u can ask a tricycle driver to take you to the hotel from the downtown for as low as php70. Hotel's ground floor has mini grocery.
